great spot not sure why someone marked it closed we stayed a few nights
Report Check-Inthe gate was locked with padlocked ..stayed up the road at sunset view.. many others did the same
Report Check-InOwnership of Blues Beach was turned over from Caltrans to a non-profit consisting of 3 local tribal governments 2 years ago. Sounds like sunrise to sunset beach restrictions will eventually be enforced, so please tread lightly, and leave no trace, and keep it on the down low. Be aware on full moons the tide gets high enough to touch your vehicle when parked up against the cliffside.
Report Check-InMost amazing stop of a 14 day trip down the coast. Worth it for sure. The longer term campers were super kind. Beautiful place. Keep it clean, pack in and pack out
Report Check-InWe stayed here one night it was amazing we had 2 vehicles with roof top tents beach access wasn’t bothered you can pull on to the beach as well with the proper vehicle we did not opt for the closer view lol.
Report Check-InAbsolutely gorgeous. Can’t believe there aren’t any “no” signs. We backed our van right up to the beach edge, saw tons of pickups driving right on the beach. Amazing sunset, huge rocks coming out from the ocean, big waves. Definitely other people around but quieted down when it got dark.
PLEASE pack out your trash! Saw lots of cans, bottles, toilet tissue, etc all over the beach. Tried to pick it up but there’s quiet a lot.
Report Check-InGood spot for a night, however, we showed up on a weekend a few days before the Fourth of July and it was crazy busy. Lots of people camping here, also looks to be like a popular surf spot. No cell service on ATT.
Report Check-InGreat spot!
Safe and quiet
Please be respectful to others and pack out your trash.
Our second time spending the night at this pretty spot right on the beach. A couple of other vehicles here when we arrived at 7pm, and one 4x4 that drove past out onto the beach, but the y left by nightfall and we had the place to ourselves. Site is far enough from the highway and close enough to the surf that only the surf remains, so very peaceful. Room for our 43 foot truck trailer to turn around, but larger rigs might need to back out the few hundred feet to the main road.
Report Check-InTucked down below the Hwy - no sign restrictions. Room for multiple vehicles. 4x4 on beach
Report Check-Inmarking this spot for later, didn't see any no camping signs or any other indication of any campfire restrictions or anything like that. little turn out on highway 1 with a road that leads to the beach. another turnout with road on the other side but it looked like it might have been gated
Report Check-InCute little spot for maybe 5 vehicles far enough off highway and close enough to the ocean to hear only waves crashing. No "no" signs and campers from last night say no issues, so we're giving it a try. A bit closer to the water and less highway noise compared to Buhel pt, but unpaved and smaller.
