Local visitors during the day (6 cars) even on a autumn rainy saturday. We spent 2 very relaxing nights

Beautiful views, lots of camping spaces and plenty to explore. Definitely worth the long drive up the gravel.

Flat spot at the river bank. Quiet after 23:00. Not far from a big sports area with public toilettes, open from 7:00 to 22:00. Restaurant 500m away. 30min. walk to City center.

peaceful and quiet, some cars coming and going with people leaving and going to the river though, which was a bit off because the night was freezing.

asked at the RCAFA if its ok to stay on the parking lot by the river. they said they didn't know but probably nobody would mind as long as I stayed with the vehicle.

Wake Station in the middle of the town , located on an Island,
there is nothing only the river , the cool wakeboard community,
no Toilet , no Water , under trees very beautiful

Nice shaded campsites for tents and camper vans. Eight additional sites added in summer of 2023, for a total of sixteen.

Flat parking to sleep before doing rafting. Ok for big rig but not possible if others vehicles

A quiet spot to camp with a nice view of the north platte. Can walk the two track a ways into the hills for more scenery. There's a few campsites back in there but the ruts are pretty deep. As is you need at 8+ inches of clearance to get to this spot without scraping the car.

Local lindo para ver o sol nascer, porém não recomendo passar a noite. Estacionamos em frente ao mar na última vaga e não conseguimos dormir tranquilamente, pois a noite toda tinha movimento de pessoas chegando com som alto. Movimento estranho de pessoas chegando e saindo muito rapidamente desse ponto.

Great place- stayed for 1 night and no problems! There was another RV as well.

This road is going nowhere with a lot of wild animals and trees on the road. We came back after 2 hours of driving. We lost 4 hours. Don’t go this way!

Parking on the side of the street. 4 h. free 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Free from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m. Sunday all day free. Beautiful place at the bank of the river. Close to Rowing Club. City centre at 10 m. walking. Calm place.

Wilko has set up his own company proworx in Mast's garage. Otherwise nothing changes. Top service at a reasonable price. Wilko did extensive work on my Unimog. Very solid and clean work. Really nothing to complain about. Problem-free contact from Germany via WhatsApp

Secluded in between bushes and trees. Close to-road and railway, so quite noisy. Not recommended unless really necessary. There is place for one 2-person tent

Road looks like it’s been past over by a machine and in decent shape. Rained off and on all weekend and had no problem getting back to camp sites. First part of road was a rocky but a decent Subaru could handle it. Had two Great Pyrenees visit my dog at night-maybe locals? But they were well behaved.

Wonderful campsite suitable for families, always clean bathrooms, swimming pool for adults and children, restaurant with excellent food, little light and you can see the stars very well

Great camping spot. Bring Mosquito spray and your own toilet paper. But other than that it was a nice spot.

Good place to boondock. Dump station works, non potable water for dump rinsing works. However, the potable water was not working. I inquired of a QPP officer, who suggested that was common, it not working, the QPP officer suggested I find a Fire Station. I did and the Fire Chief was very helpful.

Nice small campground with electric and water hookups.

Very quiet place! Walmart open until 11 pm! There is also a Shaws (grocery store) in the same parking lot! Plenty of grass for dogs (by a nice river).

We stayed overnight at the campsite. Marco and his son Alejandro were super attentive and sweet. The site is under construction, but already has a bathroom and shower and a communal kitchen. Undoubtedly the best camping in Costa Rica.

Nice free camping spot with a donation box. Water park hasn’t opened yet but still nice for overnight. The bathroom was open still. Water electric dump. Good att service and nice park for walking the dogs. Place was pretty full but still quiet

Clean restroom. Little to no t mobile cell coverage. Beautiful 3.4 mile walk around the lake. Quiet night. Site 8 was private and backed up to a lovely creek

Nice spots in the national forest. You can hear some road noise during the day but at night quiet. Had some deers visiting our camping spot, lovely to look at. Very private place a little bit further down the road (crossing the river).

Really Nice spot! Awesome view. We stay here for 7 days. Safe and nobody bother us. We left the car full day alone and nothing happens. We tried not to be loud, only open our windows. We asked the police and they said no problem to be here, only on the yellow strip that we can’t be.

Lugar increíble! Vista preciosa, Pasamos 7 días acá. Seguro, dejábamos el auto todo el día solo y salíamos a recorrer, nadie nos molestó. Intentamos pasar lo más desapercibido posible, solo abríamos las ventanas. Perguntamos a la policía y nos dijeron que no había problema en quedarnos acá, solo no se podía parar en línea amarilla. Súper recomendable!
