This is a formal campsite with no running water or electricity. But there is a beautiful lake, a pit toilet, multiple places to cook, have fires, and eat. There is also a boat dock, bins for garbage, and a dumping station.
Lots of room for big RVs. Tent camping is definitely welcome. I had three Verizon bars here.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Few spots for small rigs. There was a group here when we arrived. It was a quiet evening and had T-mobile and Verizon with no issues.
Report Check-InA free cg that has seen better days. Well water, working electric outlets under shelters, green algae water (hard to fish, watch your dogs), and fire pits full of cheap, beer cans and litter, although the cg is, surprisingly, clean. Come on, people, there is a dumpster on site. We cleaned up one of the 2 pit toilets so it is clean and respectable for use and 2 fire pits. BUT, there was a beautiful sunset behind us. Fine for one night.
Report Check-InNot a bad place to crash for the night or spend a few days. I arrived just before sunset and posted up for the night! Mosquitoes were bad when I got here - I almost drove off - but they went away surprisingly fast (weirdly) and I had good night!
See photos!
Great camping spot. Bring Mosquito spray and your own toilet paper. But other than that it was a nice spot.
Report Check-InGreat spot, secluded but with okay phone signal. Lots of spots to set up camp. Only other person I seen was a old man fishing when I arrived later afternoon but otherwise didn’t see a soul. There’s pit toilets and shelters with plug sockets inside, running water (unsure if drinkable)
Heard cayotes howling at night.
Would definitely recommend!
