Nice parking lot, try to park up the slope - just below the Royal Canadian Legion, that way you won't be in the way of boaters/boat trailers. There's a pay and display parking kiosk, which nobody really seems to take note of. I did pay the maximum $20- because I really appreciated the spot, and was hoping the Gods of Parking Tickets might therefore smile favourably upon me, LoL! There's also a small lot down below, accross from the boat launch; but if you're more than about 25 feet long it would be a challenge to back up, or turn around.

Report Check-InLots of area to camp for the night in any size rig. Lots of green space to put a tent too. We saw several tents. It is a very beautiful area to walk the trails and watch the sunset
Report Check-InQuiet and safe, there are no problems staying here and there are even some folks in tents. They were really kind and made me breakfast because I looked hungry

asked at the RCAFA if its ok to stay on the parking lot by the river. they said they didn't know but probably nobody would mind as long as I stayed with the vehicle.

Report Check-InQuiet, and beautiful.I had a great walk on the trails, talked to people fishing, and enjoyed having port-a-potties and picnic tables. I had a cold dip in the river in the morning at the boat launch . I felt safe here as a solo
