Right on the beach but not really a beach. Great for a night if you need camping but not really for swimming.
At the end of a road near a plant nursery with privacy. A few spots before this one with less privacy.

Rec center with clean, hot showers. $3 for use of all facilities, gym track, showers. Also has some Senior activities. Very nice staff.

The best coffee in town and definitely worth a stop. Really good coffee specialities and delicious sweets. Prices are so fair. Don't miss it.

Very poor selection. If you're arriving from Chile and really want to stock up, it's a great letdown. Nonetheless probably the best option in town. For veggies and bread go elsewhere!

Nice place to camp, away from the road. It’s an open field with track that leads to another big field. Lots of good places. Nice view. We only stayed to make lunch but it seems quiet and good for a night.

$15, (first she asked for €15), served me a large kebab dinner, don't know the price yet. Very nice elderly couple, the beautifully decorated traditional room (no bed, sleep on mats on the carpet) is spotless. Great view from the porch and the restaurant. Edit: I stayed 4 days, had my huge breakfast late, and a large traditional dinner was $10, so daily cost $25, room and food.

I didn’t actually camp here but rather pulled off the highway for a little hike to stretch my legs and realized my parking was a BLM campground. Would be a great overnight—easy on and off I-15, good cell service, and direct trailhead access! Next time.

Good climbing area. There are about 18 routes with difficulty between 4 and 7.

We didn't stay overnight, but the place is good. Fire pit, toilet, sitting area. Patricia and her husband are super nice. Currently they take care of 45 dogs and they were very grateful for a few pesos we gave them for dog food.

Site marked closed but was lots of other poeple so stayed for a night. conservation officer came by in the am and told us to leave in the morning. Dirt bike club was groaning that other people are using the site and they can’t ( officers words) so they came to the conclusion of ditching out the entrance to the site and closing the road until further notice.

A really nice place. However we were looking for a campsite but at this time of the year it's closed. You only can rent cabanas. They really look nice and the price is fair (10.000 Pesos per night), nonetheless we left, as we were looking for electricity for our camper.

Good place to spend the night (and day). Very sunny and quiet. Nonetheless just a short walk into the city. During the day there might be people for picknick, but everythings easy going 😉

Nice cafe with good WiFi and plug sockets at all the tables. I spent a few hours working here when passing through the town.

El Cuyo is a paradise and it’s absolutely worth to spent a couple of days there if you want to relax.

Unfortunately there exists only 1 Campground for Vans/Motorhomes. Everything else is Glamping. The day I arrived in El Cuyo Paach Kan looked nice and tidy. But day by day it went in a huge chaos. There is a family of 10 who needs space. They are very kind and the kids are nice but I had to leave after the 3rd night. I can’t describe how dirty it finally has been. Disappointed because my plan was to stay longer.

There is a large gravel space at the rear which allows you to get away from the road. Oxxo store nearby. Obviously, there are a few trucks that can make noise. Correct for one night and free.

Just after the torrent there is a nice flat place. We stayed one night outside the private property. Beautiful and quite place.

Just après le gué avant d’entrer dans la propriété privée un emplacement plat au bord d’une petite cascade. Nous y avons passé une merveilleuse nuit sans problème après d’un bon feu de camp.

NO VERIZON SERVICE HERE. But absolutely beautiful, good river for swimming for me and the doggos. Felt safe minus the couple in the pickup truck with the aggressive pups who were camped out for it looked like a long while before we arrived. Stayed one night, would have stayed 2 if there was service

Several flat campsites (some with fire pits) in the beautiful pine forest near the Hilso Trailhead. Drive thru the parking and continue on the dirt road over 2 cattle guards .Pick your spot and enjoy the stay. There is an outhouse at the parking. The cell signal fades in and out. No 4x4 required. The road is in a good condition.

A very interesting place, where in the museum you can see objects found during the excavation of the ruins and two films (also in English) about the Chalchihuites people who live here. Entry costs 70 p/p. We could stay overnight in the quiet parking lot.
