more or less flat grassy area with some trees ,visible from the road, should be fine for all kind of vehicles, no facility, quiet during night (we were there on a Wednesday). Just follow the road before the camping municipal.

Perfect spot. Silent night, good views, nice river close by and very green. Free.
Report Check-InWe stayed here two nights. During the day there are some locals around and many dogs that all seemed friendly. During the night it is quiet. There were also other campers around, here or at the spot a bit further up.
Report Check-InLugar super tranquilo e muito bonito, tem uma grama e um rio super limpo, algumas árvores, apesar de ser próximo à cidade é super silencioso.
Report Check-Ingood place to spend a few days. the nights are quiet. Locals come in the afternoons to drink their mate and chat. It is not unsafe according to what we asked several people. there are no services.
Report Check-InVery nice place. A lot of space and very quite. We stayed 4 nights.
4G claro and Movistar
large flat grassy area beside a stream. very quiet and close to the center. free. ideal for a bivouac. no amenities. next to it there is the municipal campsite which is paying but which has a shower toilet with hot water and electricity.
grande zone en herbe plane au bord d’un ruisseau. très calme et proche du centre. gratuit. idéal pour un bivouac. pas de commodités. a côté il y a le camping municipal qui est payant mais qui a wc douche avec eau chaude et électricité.
Report Check-InGood place to spend the night (and day). Very sunny and quiet. Nonetheless just a short walk into the city. During the day there might be people for picknick, but everythings easy going 😉
Report Check-InA pleasant and quiet spot, even for tents. The sound of the road is mostly drowned out by the bubbling stream.
The easy road in is the third dirt road on the left from the YPF intersection.
to access to the spot : don't follow Google maps or maps.me because the path is not marked. Coming from the center, take the road after the campground and just before the camping. by this way the access is easy for all vehicles..
Report Check-InVery nice location, next to the river with grass around. A favorite spot for locals to do asado, so it gets a bit busy during the day but then really quiet at night. Can get to Uspallata main street by foot from there.
Access - coming out of Uspallata, turn left just before the camping.
Super nice spot right next to the river. All kind of vehicles can drive here. We also used the toilets at YPF and they were clean. You can find nice places in the shadow and we were alone the whole morning. In the afternoon came some people but all of them were super nice and enjoyed the place and the super clean water in the little river with us. The police drove by two times but they didn’t stop or anything so I assume that standing here is alright. We spent here two nights and had no problems at all.
Report Check-InAbsolutely loved this spot. A little bumpy to get all the way over the grate and up next to river but found flat ground and was awesome.
Highly recommend especially over the public campground. Bathrooms at YPF were way nicer
