Something not right?

Description

Dirt road on BLM land with a handful of decent pull-offs. Three or four pull-offs near the highway but I found one about 1 mile down the road. The road gets rougher as you get farther back, but I did fine in my 2WD Ford Transit. Great Verizon cell service. No AT&T

Came in as the sun was setting and all the spots near the entrance were taken. So I went up the road a bit, and stayed before the trailhead parking area (made it up fine in rwd extended transit). It wasn't very level but it was super quiet and gorgeous. I also saw my first ever Joshua trees and a massive tarantula walking across the road! There is NO AT&T service here

Awesome. Mountains surrounding us. Several firepits. Would stay here again.

Report Check-In

Large dirt lots. Easy access with 2wd and low clearance. Right off the highway but not noisy.

Report Check-In

This is the hottest we have ever been overnight. Miserably hot with no trees of course but needs must. We are in a 24' RV and attempted to go further up the road but that is a no. Use the lower few sites for bigger rigs and don't try going on.

I didn’t actually camp here but rather pulled off the highway for a little hike to stretch my legs and realized my parking was a BLM campground. Would be a great overnight—easy on and off I-15, good cell service, and direct trailhead access! Next time.

Report Check-In

Nice place, lots of pull outs and cows.

The area is amazing! Was pretty busy when we drive in so took us a minute to find a flat spot. But otherwise it’s a great quiet spot with several fire pits and a story trail to the top of the hill. There’s also a campground on the other side of the highway, so we took an advantage of its bathrooms.

Multiple parking spots, fire rings, and full bars 5g TMobile.

great spot! i went a little further than the coordinates and still had service. perfect for a multi-night stay

Great open lot just west of St George! Several other boondockers were there when we arrived around 10pm last night. Stayed 1 night. Easy access. Large gravel lot. Not the most level but some spots are decent. Not far off the main highway but far enough to peace and quiet. Nice starry sky. Surrounded by hills and mountains all around. Plenty of room for many including larger rigs. Great cell service!

Report Check-In

Lots of good spots with service. I made it easy in my sedan. I’m mostly coming in here to say there were a lot of small thistles and thorns that got stuck in my shoes. So if you have pups this might not be the best place for them to run around.

Report Check-In

Greattttt spot just off the highway. You can be as secluded as you want to be since the road goes back pretty far.

Report Check-In

great camp spot for being just 1/2 mile from the freeway. minimal freeway noise, had the place mostly to my self but room for many rigs.

Report Check-In

we stayed one night here. it is not flat. and I'm not sure how everyone had phone reception because we had none for the entire stay.

Report Check-In

had great verizon cell service when we pulled in, lost all service in the evening. semi with cows came in about 10:30pm and then again at 3:30am to drop off cows, ruined our night. was loud. otherwise nice place.

Agree with previous comments. Just want to add this place has full bars of T-Mobile and its fast (48/19Mbps)! Lots of burrs here so watch your pups paws.

Stopped on the way to Montana. Pretty quiet area came from Montana with John and yiayia and Papou

Report Check-In

As described. Fire pits, close to the highway but not close enough to be loud.

Report Check-In

Decent road, stopped at the first turn-off to grill some steak. Several RVs and trucks around
