As others have described, this is a free public campground for which one must register online in advance. It has a locked gate, which provides some security. When you register, you receive the combination, which is changed regularly. The sites are level, and some have water spigots. Flush toilets with a hot shower. Bathroom was clean. Mix of sun and shady options. Most seem to have picnic tables and fire rings. There is some road noise. Sites are somewhat close together, but not bad. ATT has 5G, and one bar cellular.

Lovely chalets in a green paradise right at the beach. (10x better and calmer than busua) Paid 200 cedi per night. Simple room with Fan and small but clean bathroom. Transport from agona is 40cedi, from busua 100cedi (there were no collective taxis available). The taxi will drop you on the other side of the Lagune. There is a wonky bridge to walk over, you'll see the orange chalets after 3minute walk along the beach. It seems possible to drive here (there were some non-4x4s parked) but my driver told me it would take 1,5 h from busua. But maybe he just exeggerated, because he didn't want to go the long way round. Great affordable food too. (breakfast 25cedi / main meals 40-60cedi)

Ficamos aqui por 5 dias, íamos pegar um vôo daqui de Teresina, então ficamos 5 dias aqui, aproveitando para resolver algumas coisas, como endereço de correio e outras. Depois deixamos o Motorhome no estacionamento do Aeroporto 28,00 a diária.

Aqui é uma cidade muito bonita e fácil pra resolver as coisas, porém algo que nos chamou a atenção foi, do primeiro ao último dia que chegamos sempre aparecia visita,.aqui tem um grupo de Motorhomes e eles viram a gente parado aqui e já vieram dar as boas vindas, vindo aqui provavelmente vai aparecer alguém para te dar as boas vindas.

O local é bem tranquilo durante o dia, na parte da tarde início da noite chega gente para fazer caminhada aí tem um pouco de movimento, ao finais de semana também mesma rotina.

A cidade e muito quente, então colamos nossas redes no bosque da ponte para passar a tarde. Não deixe de ir na torre paga 4,00 por pessoas

Tem base da guarda 24 horas, vc em frente o bosque com árvore, porém não tem energia, tem banheiro ao lado da guarda, tem bebedouro com água bem gelada atrás do banheiro. Não tem energia água no bosque do lado esquerdo tem torneira com água só encostar o carro e abastecer.
Tem padaria a 900 mst tem mercadinho a 800mts, na rua de trás, após o lixão pegar rua até avenida depois de uma igreja. Tem wi-fi grátis e 850 mts tem lavanderia 60 minutos, você paga apenas 15 o cesto grande de roupas e 15 pra secar.

Sinal da Claro e Vivo pegam bem, não tivemos problemas, eu uso um dos Chips no amplificador . Eu uso um amplificador de sinal de celular rural, faz contato que te envio a instalação.

Free to camp but note its costs a fortune as food and beer is great so you keep going back for more. Quite during week but could be loud if have events on in weekend.

Note you need to tell security when you arrive you want to camp and they will show you where.

Can't use pool and it's very hot here during day. But a great one night stop on your way through.

Wild camping by the river. We ask the restaurant if we could park overnight next to the river and their restaurant and they said no problem.

There is NO CAMPING here. Camping in designated spaces only, and road closed to motorized traffic ( e-bikes). No offence to OP, but this is more appropriately to a hiking app like Alltrails.

We decided to stay in a hotel due to the potential rain and high winds. I read the reviews for other hotels in the area and decided on this one. So far we are quite happy. The room and bathroom are super clean. The room has an automatic coffee maker with items to make coffee. Coffee and pan dulce come with the room. Since the hotel is located above the town, the views are amazing. For a room with one bed we paid 1200 pesos. And...the internet connection is reliable and fast! I would recommend this hotel.

really nice big showers inside. another van lifer in the parking lot and tons of cars. felt safe with a little noise at night

We stayed in a thatched chalet, 580k per night with continental breakfast ( 2 people March 2023) . Decent chalet, some limited Wi-Fi and BBC world on TV! but no atmosphere in the restaurant and limited choices. As everywhere, maintenance is what it is .

Stayed two nights. Hiking trailhead up the road. Plenty of pull offs down this road that ends in parking area/ORV trailhead with a pond and pit toilet there.

A treasure place in the desert! One of the most scenic places between Walvis Bay and Sesriem!
Excellent bakery, restaurant for breakfast, lunch & dinner! Very clean small pool to cool down! A good place to relax a couple of days in the desert!

Pads all have power, water and sewer. Very low water pressure.Bathrooms are ok good warm water. Flush toilets. Food at restaurant was good. Has a small gift shop. Whale tours available. overall a goos place to stop and rest for a night or two.

It cost us 1500 per person + 2000 for our small van.. very expensive for what it is. Hot shower, but everything is old and trashed. Wouldn’t stay more than 1 night. Only 1 tent on the campsite.. but it was the guy that made us pay….. only good thing is it’s close to town and good signal for our phone.

Water, shower, toilets. Very friendly guard.

Beautiful location. Two wind shelters for tents. Large cabana available also )family size), with parking space for rigs. Clean hot showers and a kitchen available. No power or wifi

Just next to a YPF station à Nice restaurant with garden. May be thé best one in Town. Definitily for travellers. Don’t mist it and sleep in thé station.

We spend a wonderful week in this extraordinary campside. As mentioned it is inside a natural park with a 5 min beautiful walk to the huge beach of barra lagoa. People here are extremely helpful and friendly. You will have access to WIFI, and washing machine, all is very clean; very much recommended from our point of view

We camped two nights here. As the rain season was about to start, we were allowed to set up the tent under a big roof. Lots of green space otherwise for campervan, overlanders and the like. Huge dining and bar area to hang out and relax. Bathroom and toilets are in old colonial charm, but clean and fully functional (I think the manager has an eye on it due to previous comments). Payed 6 USD pppn for camping. A buffet will be arranged when bigger groups are around the hotel. 40k UGX for Dinner, 28k UHX for breakfast buffet.
Chimpanzee Trekking can be arranged with Ranger Deo, see other marked location at Masindi hotel.

The price is now $99 per night plus taxes but that's what you have to pay to get within ferry distance of the big city. It's just a safe place to leave the RV while you see the bright lights. Full service, hot shower, cable tv.

what a great and beautiful, clean place! We have been asking at many different places in town and ended up here. It's so clean, great atomphere and super kind people. We parked our Van in the Back of the building at theire parking lot and access to theire area directly from there.
