Camped here twice. Nice simple campground. Very nice fellow and a sweet campground dog that watches over the place. Make sure you ask for dry camping because I paid $250 the first time I came for dry camping, but didn’t realize it was only $200 for dry. I think it was a miscommunication. Still very affordable.

Nous sommes allés aujourd'hui et tout nous semble bien fermé. Personne n'y était, aucun responsable, aucun RV et aucun fruit dans les arbres. Nous sommes retournés au Ronanita centre-ville.

Super cool spot, calm, secure and with a nice view
You can pick oranges and lemons on the trees!
Wifi, hot showers, and an exterior sink
You are 5minutes in car from the malecon of loreto
200pesos/night for a car
The best spot we have found!

Report Check-In

the best shower we have experienced during our Baja trip out of 4 campgrounds

Amazing place!!! Just 5 min outside the busy Loreto, near the bridge that crossed the river.
this place is a little oasis, heaven!!! so much better than the other RV place or campgrounds town.
the owner Reniery is such a lovely man: he keeps his place super clean and loves his fruit. there are tons of delicious oranges that you can pick to make amazing juice or eat! rhe 2 showers are warm and well built. toilets with water are clean. excellent WiFi. 200mxp for a night dry camping. didn't ask for a full hookup, but this is an option.
We loved it and will be back!!

The post from 27/1/24 is meant for the second Romanita place in the centre. We ended up here as everything in the town was full. Gravel lot with few trees, bit very nice owner and one of best shower in weeks (the pressure is great! and is really hot). Sink for doing dishes and yes, you can grab oranges from trees. Paid 200MXN/2ppn in rooftop tent. Good spot.

Loved this site. A little out of town but spacious with orange, lemon and grapefruit trees the owner lets you pick. Fantastic hot shower and clean bathrooms. Very friendly and safe. Also Wifi is available.

A great spot! Hydro, septic, great showers and wifi. Nestled in amongst citrus trees. Very neat and clean. They are constantly working at cleaning up, watering down and adding new things. They sure have done a lot since last year. Some highway noise, but is quiet at night
Well worth 250$ for full hooks up and 200$ dry camping.

We could not find it, the apps. and GPS where all over the place. We found Rivera RV park.
We found Romanita later on a walk, everyone is happy with their stay. The GPS and Google maps will take you to a street 1 block from malecon and tell you to turn, but the road looks like a walking path, take that. It has circular elevated planters, so you will be tight, but that's the entrance.
Next time we will know.

As described. father and son running the campground are very friendly and inviting. lemon and Mandarin trees on site, which the owner let us pick some using a long hook (dont shake the trees, it causes mess). showers have hot water and plenty of room to get changed etc. very nice and quiet. we have solar panels on our rv so the son gave us a nice spot in the sunlight. plenty of shaded spots available too. has spots with hook up - we didn't need so had a dry spot. will likely go back again when passing through.

I'm not there now so please don't trust these co-ordinates...
Please review other comments. Aprox 6 full hookups, and the spots are close to each other on a gravel lot. However having said that if you want to dry camp and/or hook up to water and electric only, there are some smaller lovly spots in the citrus grove. probably not big rig friendly, but our 24' (LOA) bumper pull and truck could've gone in there.
Shower = awesome, they are leaving it heated at least durning daylight hours. They keep it clean. Tons of hot water & pressure.
They fellow that maintains/owns the place is very nice, friendly & generous. Not an english speaker but he would call his son to help him if needed. $250 MX with power. When we got there he said the power may be no good. Its 20 amp and was 100% fine for our rig. It wasnt for our neighbour with a Class A & 50 amp needs.
Besides the ambiance of the full hookup sites, the only other downfall is the hookup water pressure. Quite low, not good enough for a shower in your unit, but fine for everything else.
