Trailhead camping. One picnic table and fire ring. Gorgeous lonely setting with 3bars 5G T-mobile. 4WD recommended. Take the 46 road at the old homestead.

Excelente point para dormir en auto o motorhome. Dormimos varias noches. Cerca del centro pero silencioso, tranquilo y no concurrido. Al lado de un bracito del río.

Please be aware there is two lines and two Windows one is for entry and one is for exit of Brazil.

If unsure ask when you arrive. Because when I arrived the entry to Brazil line was huge and the exit was very small.

Only had to show passport and proof of vacine nothing else on line as of 15/01/2023

Small shop with all the basics you need. Eggs, fresh bread, sausages, cans, rice etc. Kind owner. Store open even on Sunday. If she's not there you can ring the bell or wait for a bit and she will most likely show up.

The photos looked great, but the spot isn’t. It’s essentially a narrow dead end with no lake access. Did not stay

The last pump before you exit the rest area is awesome! Excellent water pressure. I backed out truck in and out 4 scepter containers on my truck bed and was able to use a standard length hose to reach. Filled 30 gallons before having to “pump” the faucet again. Easy peasy

Ficamos uma noite tranquila aqui. Wi-fi bom. Só tem um chuveiro (unissex) mas esquenta bem, 300 ARS por pessoa. Funcionários simpáticos.

We stayed a quiet night here. Wifi good. There is only one shower (unisex) but it gets hot, 300 ARS per person. Friendly staff.

No, no pa.rking signs, however warnings of cancers surveillance.
Parking lot was crowded, large rigs may have problems.
Larger than normal washrooms.
There is a Flying J just off the highway which has showers, but it is also pretty busy.

Some fire rings, although not recently used.
LTE service is strong on Visible (Verizon)
Toilets available one mile down the road at the Burro Creek BLM Campground (day use parking is free), dump for for $10

Grassy parking area for marsh trails. A couple small nooks hidden from road on right side. Good for vans and smaller vehicles. Lot will fit bigger rigs but obviously more conspicuous. Fair amount of road noise. Porta potty in the corner. No 'no camping' signs. Nobody bothered me on a Saturday night/Sunday morning. 4 bars Verizon.

Perfect place to stop by. You can charge your stuff :) There is a little play park for kids and a big, paid one, next to it. Few little tables to sit and drink caldo de caña.

Great place to spend the night, I'm surprised it isn't already listed.

It is a "waiting room" equipped with a heater, a gas stove, a sink and electrical outlets. Next to it are toilets and hot showers.

In the waiting room we can put about 6 beds on the floor I think. Only negative point, we did not find how to switch off the lighting.

For the Wi-Fi, possibility to have a drink or a meal (1800 pc) at the hotel next door.

The place is super clean, thanks for keeping it that way!!!

Entrance costs 10$ / p, to sleep the lady at the entrance told us that it was 50$ for the vehicle, we explained that usually travelers don't pay the night and she agreed to stay sleeping for free. Very quiet night, we stayed in the first parking lot on the right just before the passage to pay because the land is flat (photo small van). Boat tour, 200 $ / p. You row for 2 hours round trip and there are 2 stops of 30 minutes, so 3 hours in total. I advise rather to come in the morning because the sun is hidden behind the mountains from 3 p.m. and the waterfall is in the shade afterwards.
