Very nice spot. Bathrooms are available. We were here on a Monday night and there were 6 of us. Two of the campers look like they’ve been here for a while. Very windy! Beautiful view of the river. We do hear the train, but it’s chilly tonight so the windows will be closed. Slight highway noise, too. It’s free (7 day limit), so not going to complain.

This is a really cool spot! The trees along the boardwalk are enormous. As close to old growth forest as you can get in the south. Great wildlife watching. Wish I had a kayak...

Parking lot at Saratoga hot springs. Stayed here for one night and wasn’t bothered. It’s a 24/7 park so people come and go throughout the night as well. Love the proximity to the hot spring, only a half a mile walk. 3 bars 5G AT&T

Great library with lots of places to sit and power strips at some of the tables. With bathrooms and water fountains; staff is really nice. they have a great bookstore inside with reasonable priced books.

Awesome camping spot to head out to the hills for some hiking.

The easiest border crossing in South America so far. Just as mentioned in the comments before.

paid way more than other campspots (54$) and had to pay extra for showers. The nearest toilet was just a hole in the ground with a lid on top.
Everything is clean, but other places we visited were just as clean and way cheaper with free showers

The ICA building on google maps is no longer correct. They moved to this place. Other than a poster it has no sign or whatsoever. We asked and they confirmed. You can park in front of the building. Beware of the steep ramp.

It’s open during weekdays between 7.30 total 11.00 and from 14.00-17.00. Changes could be made since they’re undergoing changes currently.

Here at ICA you can legalise your health certificate for the dog to leave Colombia.

At the very end of USFS road 651. There are informal camp sights all the way up, but this one is worth the drive. A flat spot to park with valleys on three sides. Lots of little trails that will take you out to the edge for some unobstructed views.

There was a sign coming in that said you must have a permit to collect firewood, and we didn’t notice any fire rings coming up, so play it safe if you’re not sure what the rules are.

We passed one other truck driving up but no one else. We are in a high clearance truck, and because the road was dry we didn’t need 4x4. Id say the first 4/5 of the road in from the main highway is easy enough that most sedans could make it up. High clearance vehicles won’t have a problem unless the roads are muddy. If it’s been raining there are some monster mud pits that would swallow a 2wd whole.

We’re here in may, there’s no bugs at all, a little wind, and it’s supposed to get down to 28 tonight. Not a sound to be heard except the wind in the trees.

Still closed as of May 6th. As others have stated, otherwise a clean place.

Easy in and out even for a big rig. Sani water was turned off though so you couldn’t flush your tank as of May 6th.

Nice big lot with very easy in and out. Signs out saying no overnight parking but no one bothered us. Road noice isn’t terrible.

Four small sites in a parking lot reservable through their website. Beautiful views of the bay. On the flight path for sfo. Has water, 20amp electrical box, no waste dump or useable restroom/shower.

Lovely campground and the large open area across the road is even better if you need an open sky for solar and Starlink!
This place is an absolute madhouse on the weekends with OHV’s and drunk & obese men.
I was completely alone Sun night - Thurs. I would come LATE on Sun, trailers hung around until sunset, and plan to leave by Thursday evening or Friday morning ~ unless you enjoy chaos. :-)
I only saw the BLM property managers once, they were checking on the cell tower after a storm.
Tons of trails, it was quiet and magic during the week so I hiked the area every day!

Pretty decent for the price. Still 30.000 for a double room. No towels, no breakfast, decent WiFi. Nice staff that speaks English. Street parking available but also a guarded lot at 100m distance for 3.000 per night.

Rooms are very basic and in need of renovation but everything functions as it should.

7000 for a room with poor fan and old AC, running water, sleep in my tent on the bed, found many bedbug. better pay more money for a real AC, it's really hot.

Spoke with very friendly city staff who advised they do not tow or ticket in the Winne Dixie lot. Spoke to Winne Dixie manager and not only did they not care that we were there, but they let us fill up our fresh water tanks when we left using the spigot on the front of their building near the Bronze Lady store. We stayed at the back of the lot near the other school district buses in our 30’ skoolie. We ran the generator overnight and had no issues whatsoever. We only stayed one night, but I am sure we could have stayed for several. Right across from fire station and city hall so felt very safe! Would stay again!

On a bumpy dead end road, near a freeway, an airport, a prison, and Vegas. This should be the stuff that horror movies and nightmares are made of, but it’s actually a nice spot. Strong cell reception and the gas station at the exit is open 24 hours with some grocery selection and decent bathrooms

This place is nice and it's very quiet but during the night we could hear noises like bomb exploding not too far away. We didn't see anyone and nothing happened but it wasn't pleasant. The road to get there has been washed away in places and can be muddy if raining. The restaurant/resort looked abandoned, maybe it's only open during summertime.

Bits and Bobs hardware store has a fair selection of tools and camping gear. They even had 250g and 500g screw on type fuel canisters for camp stoves(jet boil).
Also lots of modern shops and restaurants here.

Utterly sublime little camp site. Clean, gravel ground so bring a mat if you’re camping and extremely peaceful.
I paid €10.50 for a single tent and one night here. Bit pricey I think but great location.

You can use this marker for driving and parking. After this marker there is a gate and you need to continue on foot.

Got a knock at 6:30am. No overnight parking in vehicles in pigeon forge. Cop was kind & didn’t give us a ticket, but did tell us we had to move.

The field is now fenced. We haven't found anything here where we can stay. We drove on and later there are meadows where you can stay.

It was a bit further on the road towards Jama. A lot of sand on the road. Right side closer to the salar was basically undrivable today. So keep a watchout.

Don’t buy a SIM card at the little shop, we got scammed, promised unlimited but it was only 1 GB, for 7500 tenge. In an official shop from BeeLine this is unlimited GB, for a whole month :)
