At this roundabout there are ATMs of what I think is every bank in Bolivia.
BNB.24, Banco Ganadero, BCP, Banco Económica, La Primera, Banco Fie, Banco Unión.
I tried every ATM. Some wanted to charge me 90 BOB / 7 US Dollars fee, some did not charge.
I could withdraw 2000 BOB at a time for several times at the BNB.24 without fees with my German DKB Visa Card.

You will find a parking spot in one of the neighboring streets.

Nice parking area. Busy during the day, but empties in the evening. Toilets were locked. Couldn’t find a water source. Nice walks around the lake. Cell service T-Mobile, 3 bars 5Gu/c was OK. No signs about for “no camping” and no one bothered us. Be prepared to arrive in evening as cars leave parking area

Great spot on the beach, didn’t see any no camping signs, but theft here is rampant. I had a 2gallon gas can that was empty and broken, cut off the back cargo carrier of my travel trailer overnight. Luckily I have a motion camera on the back of my rig, and I forwarded the footage, including clear face and license plate to the local police. Was told the drug problem in Crescent city is out of control and I’d be safer to leave. Which I did. I cancelled reservations at a local RV park and left. Bit sad that this lovely costal town is now dangerous and over run with drugs. Avoid at all costs.

A great bar integrated into the APU Ecolodge. You can enjoy the best pisco in Peru and other drinks, as well as home-brewed APU beer, under a starry sky and around a campfire. Barkeeper Josh conjures up great drinks! Highly recommended!

Very nice place with snacks, drinks, and a bathroom with a shower. Nice view of the dock from this location and a good place to wait for the barge. Everyone was very friendly.

Nice little trail through the woods, and a great way to stretch out your legs before/after the ferry ride. Hardly anyone else on the trail. There was some slush on the wooden platforms, but my trail running shoes easily handled it. Worth the journey to see the huge trees!

My 4runner brake pedal was applying brakes low. So I was brought in here by Oswaldo, driver of the History Tours that take visitors to Punta Gallinas. They have all Toyota Prados & Land Cruisers. They are in tip-top top conditions. I felt they know the best mechanics. Brought my car here. He thought the pas needed replacement but that was not the issue. He alternatively thought the pedal needed adjustment but tried to adjust it but could not. In reality it was Master cylinder gradually failing. Good for routine brake repairs.

One of several very nice spots down a side road off of Pearl Harbour Drive. Some fine for the average vehicle but the ones further in i’d recommend 4x4 because the road gets quite steep.

This neighborhood has lots of random parking available if you circle around. The spot we chose was outside of businesses that were closed early on Sunday. There are certain times you must pay for this spot but overnight is free. Pretty quiet after 10p on a Sunday and got loud around 7-8a on Monday.

Fine pull-off. Woke up to howling winds, snow, and a few semi's depositing their loads of gravel next to me.

Off season, amazing location. You have to drive along the sea to the parking lot, Google Maps brings you up to the city for some reason. You can connect to the municipality's free internet.

Bolivia-Chile via bike
Difficult crossing. We have crossed into Chile many times and this was definitely the hardest. Arrived around 2pm, if you're on a bike line up in the car lane (we were told different things by different people but in the end car lane was the correct one). Very busy - 1.5h wait to get to front of line.
Going through customs there was lots of confusion as staff didn't know if we needed to have a registration form for our bikes (we ended up just keeping an old one from a prior crossing). We then had to take every bag off our bike to put it through the scanner. overall crossing took 2+ hours.

This is now the immigration and customs building to exit Bolivia and enter Chile. We arrived here on bicycles and were told to queue up in the auto (car) queue. It was a rather lengthy process since there were multiple buses/coaches also being processed. They made us take off our bags/panniers to be scanned. Possibly avoid arriving in the afternoon as it was very busy.
