Tight access off of main road just west of San Luis Gonzaga. Lots of room to park down in the bottom, some shade and protection from wind. Only good when it's dry, would be a mud pit. Some cows around, very quiet.

Flat asphalt parking lot for a small nature preserve not far off the highway. Two latrine toilets and an old picnic table. Peaceful night.

Checked this place out but either couldn't find it or it's changed. Just normal street parking signs now, nothing RV specific. Was also on a bit of a slope.

Road is a little rocky but easily navigable in my HR-V. Nice spot right across from the road that goes right to Flower Pot Farm. Definitely some background noise from I-17 but it's not terrible. Didn't see anyone else in this area. 4bars of 5G with AT&T.

2000 P/P today.
There is so less water, unspectacular. Road is good, sometimes you have to wait for pasing other cars.

Nice place but overpriced at $28 PLUS vehicle entry fee of $10 which is not included in the camping fee. All this for a campground with no water. We have site 1314 which requires leveling blocks for our van but is right by the river. The tent area is nice though.

very quiet spot, until there the road is good. In the morning there are lots of birds to observe. Shepherds walk their cows there around 9 a.m. We felt safe.

Stayed for one night - perfect spot! Lots of other vans along the street. Absolutely quite, a few cars till 11 pm but no noise at all after, but no parking if you are longer than 20 feet. It's seperatet from residential area. No one bothered us.

If you plan to go to these Cascades, don’t do it in the dry season ! When we visited in May 2024 there was hardly any water present.
Only interesting in the wet season

Indeed a beautiful place, but we couldn’t enter with our truck of 3.5m high.
The entrance portal is 3.2m high.
When you’re higher go to “Felix’ parking area”, the only place in town for high vehicles.

The bridge at 2km far from the baths collapsed and is not repaired yet. Not enough space along the road for camping. You may ask locals if it's repaired before driving there.

I loved this village. Very nice people and children. The hostal is 15 soles + 5 for wifi. No shower. For the rest it is as it was already said (I also banged my head)

Stayed here last night for about 12 hours without any issues. Many others were there as well. Felt safe, bathrooms were clean. Warning to dog owners that my dogs were only outside briefly for bathroom breaks but brought ticks back into the van 🤮

great spot to camp for the night. very busy and lots of traffic on the 101 but a beautiful view. there were about 8 vans around including us, probably gets busier in the summer so plan accordingly. but overall would 100% recommend it here! no bathroom access at lagoon creek however but the bathroom at trees of mystery a few miles south on the 101 was open and unlocked when we went in the morning.

Some locals told me they found water in their fuel after filling up there. According to them better to use any other gas station in the area.

After getting a visa extension here is where you get the TIP extension. There's no sign outside, it's just an old looking building on the corner.
You'll need colour copies of the following:
1. Original TIP
2. Récord Migratorio (obtainable from migration office)
3. Vehicle title/registration
4. Passport

Great little spot that saved our night. Was a bit windy for us but on the plus side, you barely hear anything from the road or railway. Only the parking lot is accessible now (the grass area is blocked, see picture), and it's all downhill, but we managed to find a flat area at the top. So not a lot of room for several rigs, unfortunately. Friendly sheep around :)

Nice quiet place to spend the night. The toilets are open 24 hours and are clean. several steamers pass on the river during the night, but it is not too noisy. However, as soon as the sun rises, several boats are launched, as well as airboats. So we can't really sleep in.

The Tailler el wicho (tel. 3026748641) does fantastic Carosserie works on Toyota, but also on other cars. If there is a problem with the seats or something interior works like that, there is shop just on the other side of the road. Good experience

Super nice owners, very clean! Starlink wifi, showers, laundry. $31.50 for a tent spot. Only downside is close to highway so there’s a bit of noise.

Dormimos uma noite aqui, ninguém nos incomodou, o único ponto negativo é o lixo! Infelizmente tem muito lixo espalhado pelo lugar o que é uma pena pois o lugar é extremamente lindo. Também não pega sinal de telefone

We slept one night here, no one bothered us, the only negative point is the garbage! Unfortunately there is a lot of garbage scattered around the place, which is a shame because the place is extremely beautiful. It also doesn't get a phone signal

To get to park by the lake, better use the furthest path (close to the hills) passing the small building and blue dumpsters. The first ones seem too sandy at some point to pass with our 24ft motorhome.

We arrived past 6pm and the entrance booth was closed but in the machine next to it we bought the entrance ticket and also the interagency pass (America the beautiful) that we wanted to buy for other places.

Dump station and potable water ok!
