very cool spot under a tree to stop on lone pine narrow gague road. woke up to the roosters, great feel reception, no one bothered me overnight.

Clean hotel close to the city centre. Fan room for 8000 CFA. Absolutely no space for negotiation. Working Wifi (not super fast, but enough for multiple video conferences). The fans are really loud. While the staff (a lady) is really nice, the manager isn’t welcoming or helpful. I stayed twice in different rooms and both times the flush of the toilet didn’t worked. The second time there was no water in general.
Not allowed to camp here.

I came and had to pay 1000 CFA for looking the monkeys right at the entrance. If you want to enter the forest you have to pay another 1000 CFA for a guide.
You can also just go along the fence of the forest following the path through the village. There you will see the monkeys without paying. There is even another “entrance” (a small path going through the fence into the forest) where you can enter for free ;)

I ordered “Spaghetti Viande” for 1500 CFA and got a really really small plate. No sauce, just a few burned pieces of meat. There was more Maggi than anything else, at least Maggi was the only thing I could taste.

camping place in fanal. a lot of grass and flat areas to pitch the tent. you're camping next to the foggy forest of fanal. Free, but to camp there, you're suppose to request a camping permit prior to your trip.

Camp site along 4x4 single track that leads to Castle Dome Peak trail. Camping must stay within 100ft of road. Has rock fire ring and flat even surface despite being very gravely. No signal on t-mobile.
Very quiet and peaceful, didn't see anyone else and no cars passed by. Pretty remote.

Easy to park with our big rig. A lot of mangoes to collect and eat at this period 😋. The responsible is very friendly and also offered to fill in the tank of water BUT Water was yellow, and with a smell of bleach, we just used it there but didn’t fill in. Night was quiet.

Clean, private shower with locking door. What a joy to have a shower ! :)

Lot of things to buy here, it's possible to get cash beside the fuel station, the prices are normal, not expensive.

We paid 240P per person to camp here, that included the park entrance fee. We arrived at 5pm and were able to stay and enjoy the thermal pools until 6pm the next day. This is a really large area, with lots of space for tents or vehicles of all sizes. The water is crystal clear and nice for a dip, luke warm, buy not hot. It does get very got here during the day, so look to park near the trees for shade. Once the sun goes down it cools right off in the evening. A nice stop over between Durango and Chihuahua, a bit pricey given the lack of amenities (compared to other Mexican camping sites).

Very nice place by the beach, with a lot of palm trees, a little hot and mosquitoes here, very quiet , there are not many houses and people here, 4 km far from the town where you can have a great sea food lunch. Owners are very kindly, very clean warm shower and toilete. $5pppn. We stayed five days.

The cars are in amazing restored condition and there are quite a lot of them. It was quite expensive though.

Wonderfully rustic spot surrounded by karoo bush with space to camp, bunks or private rooms. Desmond is a lovely person full of information and life experience and has a great passion for his piece of land and hosting us on it. There is a waterfall and dam to swim in nearby, bushman paintings and for the more adventurous, the Seweweekspoort pass and hikes to the highest peak in the Western Cape. Campsites were R125 including electricity, hot showers, wifi and use of the kitchen. The approximately 1km dirt road is fine for city cars.

We spent one night here in this small parking lot with a splendid view of the sea.

Wonderful casa de campo in Baños de los Incas. The house is beautiful, there is few rooms but we camped in the garden for 10s pp. There are a lot of places to seat, cook and chill (bbq, hammoc, terrace) + a kitchen + a sink to wash cloth and hang them + one big bathroom with hot water + cosy living room + good WiFi. The owners are super nice and availables. The food is good (breakfast, lunch for 12s). What else to say ? Close to the city center and from the baths by foot. A little paradise to stay. Totally recommend.

Free potable water fill up at the Ranger Station up the hill from the Visitors Center. Look for a blue spigot at the back of the station.

Here is where you take the boat that goes to Liranga or Brazzaville if the water level is low. Otherwise you must go to the main port that is at the end of town (port secondaire). You can take a boat to Liranga, is 8.000 XAF ticket + 500 XAF port fee. Both with receipt and crew check it carefully. From Liranga you can take another boat to Brazzaville, i've added that location as well. I know there's s boat that goes straight to Brazzaville but only in raining season and is nice to stop in Liranga to see a real african town and its marché.
This boat leaves every two weeks on Monday, they start loading at 8.00 h but leaves around 14.00h. It arrives to Liranga on Wednesday / Thursday.

I spent one night here after a very long day of bicycling. I came from Panquehue and was so tired. I ask the workers at the tunnel if I can sleep in the building and they offer me a hot shower, kitchen, dormitory and everything I need. Workers are so nice .

We went at camping Granja Nía Tora but it was closed so we continued a few meter and maybe 300 meter after on the same side there is a large wild space. We camp here one night with one tent and 2 bicycles. Enough space for tents.

Vidal is great and speaks a proper English. Just choose the tour you like. We ended up getting a private tour since nobody else went on a tour that day but payed the normal price. We hiked over isla del sol and he told us a lot about the ruins. totally recommend!

I spent a week at the campsite with a motorhome. It was an excellent experience, it has wi-fi, bathrooms, electricity points, river for swimming, fishing and paying, natural crafts store, wood and gas stove.
