We stayed here in our 4x4 for 2 nights, traveled to the osa then returned again for another 2 night stay. Luis and his wife are very friendly, hospitable, and helpful. Beach access is perfect: a short little walk behind the property. There are showers, toilets, and potable water. They offer a laundry service at a very fair price (i had my laundry done for three times Luis’s price in drake bay). One day i got stung by a massive jellyfish and was having scary complications (muscle spasms, respiratory problems, and chest pain) and Luis rushed me to the urgent care free of charge. Our last night we decided to stay in one of their rooms which is furnished with a shower, AC, television, and a shared kitchen for $45 US/night. You can pay when you leave and it was $6 US/night. They also have a very friendly dog named Blackie. This place is fun, comfortable, welcoming, and safe. Its also within walking distance to an ice cream shop, restaurants, and a market.

Open, free and clean! Very easy to access. Sign says water not safe to drink.

amazing place!

I got here in a 2 wheel drive but also got stuck and the very kind owners came and saved me. when leaving, we went a different road, which is very much possible for brave 2 wheel drives, BUT ring the owners first as its not the official entrance 😊

just between us don't tell everyone what an amazing place to camp.
200 acres of ranch mainly mango trees you can camp anywhere you like. toilets and hot showers very clean, communal area with seating and kitchen . The owner Bonnie is extremely nice and welcoming. she rescues parrots some of which fly free. Ranch horses roam free and there are very friendly dogs, lots of wildlife. We came for thee nights and said a week. Filtered drinking water on tap available in kitchen highly recommended campground but not suitable for big rigs more small to medium vans and 4x4 units.

This place is in the middle of a minefield, that still needs to be cleared by the Halo trust. There are several signs around this place, indicating old (unexploded) mines.

The road can get a little rough but I was able to navigate it with 2wd. There are several shaded spots not too far from the highway

A really great place in Caraz, the heart of the Cordillera Blanca. From here you can go on wonderful excursions and treks; Eric, the owner, and Josh are very helpful.
It has hot showers, clean toilets, lovely pitches and tent sites. WIFi works very well.
Josh's bar invites you to linger around the campfire in the evening and enjoy a pisco or a home-brewed beer. If you like, you can eat in the Logde Restaurant in the evening - the food is really good. We have never found such a beautiful place in Peru. Highly recommended!

Un lugar realmente estupendo en Caraz, el corazón de la Cordillera Blanca. Desde aquí se pueden hacer maravillosas excursiones y caminatas; Eric, el propietario, y Josh son muy serviciales.
Tiene duchas de agua caliente, aseos limpios, bonitas parcelas y emplazamientos para tiendas. WIFi funciona muy bien.
El bar de Josh te invita a quedarte alrededor de la fogata por la noche y disfrutar de un pisco o una cerveza casera. Si quieres, puedes comer en el restaurante Logde por la noche - la comida es realmente buena. Nunca hemos encontrado un lugar tan bonito en Perú. Muy recomendable.

5/6/24 from their website: PARK ADVISORY:Allaire State Park Family Campsites are currently closed due to the construction of a new bathroom/shower facility. Group Camping is not affected and is open April 1st through December 15th.

City campground right off the highway.
Not much to recommend this one except they have electric and water on each site. Most sites are pull through. No bathrooms! Ok for one night in our rig. See the lady in the cafe to register. $25/night.

Perfect for wildcamp. Steep up on narrow gravel road. Grassy flat spots. There can be mabey 4 or 5, by prefer 4x4 vehecicles. Some hikers walk by, but all kind and friendly.

Camping junto ao rio com água bem limpinha e bastante pedregoso. O local é seguro e bem organizado, possui energia 110v para barracas e 220v para motorhome, os banheiros limpos e chuveiros quentes. Os donos são muito atenciosos, no local também tem uma pequena lanchonete. Passamos três noites, lugar bonito e familiar.

Een boerderij, met een vlakke parkeerplaats. De voorzieningen zijn oud maar er is water.
De eigenaar was afwezig maar op PfN vond ik een telefoonnummer waarop hij te bereiken was.
