Not a dream spot, but cheap and OK for resting. Highway is closed, don't really feel in the woods with all that traffic noise... Showers are not so hot. 32$ if not a resident.

Report Check-InState park campground with minimal shade. Bathrooms are acceptable.
At 2:00AM, someone tried to get into my car.
He ran away when I started yelling at them. 15 minutes later, a police car drove around for 10 minutes with all their lights on so another camper must have called after he also tried getting into their car.
When I told the park staff at the visitor’s center that I wouldn’t be staying again and why, they didn’t seem surprised - so theft must be a common problem here. Keep an eye on your stuff, friends!
