Small wrecked ship very close to the beach, over the surface. Apparently a good place for kayaking. Makes for very cool pictures and the access to this point is a cool, unpaved road that even crossed a very shallow water stream. No 4x4 needed at all.

He speaks excellent English too! He also has a long hose which is "food grade" that he went to the U.S. to buy just so that it's safer for overlanders. I highly recommend this place over any other water station!

Location is great! It’s a block from the melcon but right on the walking street with shops and restaurants. The campground is quite small and while they pack you in tight it doesn’t feel full at all. Most of the people camped are long termers. The bathrooms are very clean and the showers are warm to hot. There is a bit of noise from the city but the camp itself is very quiet. Many palm trees offer shade but not enough sun in most spots to charge with fixed solar panels. $250mp/night

Beautiful grassy end of the road along side a river . Ducks and birds watching every move. Small camper access only.

Honestly one of our least favourite spots. Far too close to the road for our liking to the point where the van shook whenever someone drove by too fast. We would have stayed at any other close area but most roads leading east out of the city were closed because of storms.

not sure if the place is permanently closed down or if there's just something going on but you can't get to the casino the restaurant the gas station or the campground. it is blocked off entirely.

Campground in the middle of nowhere. Very friendly host, roosters, peacocks. You may have to ask to open water taps and bathrooms.

Unfortunately there is no direct way from the Monumento Valle del Encanto (as google suggests), you have to go back on 45 and come from the East. The back gate to the Monumento was not open.

We really enjoyed this place. The information had good depth and the pace could be adjusted to replay key point. (Did you know Shackleton ate the dogs!?). If you have an iPhone, bring an adapter or your own headphones. Or use theirs.
We ate the most tender, delicious lomo con champiñones up on top. Pricey but delicious. Overall a good way to spend a few hours indoors.

Para ser Sábado, fue un día muy tranquilo al igual que la noche. Excepto por uno que andaba en moto a las 2am dando vueltas al parque 🙄

We came for a dip and were able to stay overnight for an extra 300pesos. Ask Abuela Carmen. Large parking lot, bathroom, outdoor showers, pic nic tables. Little bridge to get in, looks scary but was totally fine with a van/sprinter. Chickens around. She sells internet coupons, 45 pesos for 8h.

Beautiful spot, quiet because the pass was open from 7:00 am untill 9:00 pm.

The rules for this park say “tent camping only,” and there are only 12 primitive sites. With recent improvements to their huge bicycle trail system, these sites tend to get booked up on weekends, per the city rep I spoke with. We have a stealth minivan and would never get bothered for sleeping in it, but anything resembling an RV will not be allowed. Very private camp sites with fire rings. Cheers!

Asked if I was allowed to just sleep in my car or tent it in the free area. Lady said it’s for RVs only but she’d allow it as long as I clean up after myself. Other information - free on one side with no hookups on and I don’t know what the cost was on the other side with hookups. I don’t think there’s restrooms… there was a sign at the gift shop saying no public bathrooms. Didn’t see any others around the camping area.

$32.something for tent site. Not busy at all. Quite a bit of road noise but kind of far away so a bit mute. Clean! Tent sites are pretty much on top of each other.

tiny nice Campsite Close to town. If you Like you can Share Family kitchen but separate Toilette and shower. all good. paid 6.000 Pesos for 2 Persons and 1 campervan.

You feel like at home there. First real overlanders spot since Senegal. Luis and Juliette are great hosts and will help you with everything. On top of that Juliette is awesome cook. Aa and be careful, bacause it is hard to leave this place. I have stayed one week 😂

As described, only price went up to 35.000 each. Campground is still down, not next to the lodge. Toilet and shower were not super clean this time and there are no lights anywhere so carry a torch. Many mosquitos. Pay attention flushing toilets as there are frogs a
t night (even in the toilet!)

Next to the river, many flat places for big rigs. If you drive down the hill, not visible from the road. No vehicle passing at night, very peaceful.

Beautiful spot! We didn't have that much wind, so we enjoyed the beautiful sundown at the canyon and joined the first tour into the caves. Free toilet at the entrance. Could be to windy for tents, but when we were here the weather was good.
It's the last corner before the visitors centre, a bit higher than the official parking.

It changed the address, and we didn’t see. The guy there walked with us to the new place. It’s 25€ per person, without breakfast and Wi-Fi (the owner said that everybody has internet on phone in Guinea, so the place and the guests don’t need). After this, we went to the hotel near (Les Palmiers), 55€, but with a good breakfast and Wi-Fi, and we can pay by card.

Not much to do down here. Cold and windy. 40$/day, 200$/7 days. No WiFi but decent phone signal. Only 50A sockets, but the owner has an plug adapter for 30A.

Street parking across the street from apartment complex. Parked a couple of nights with no issues. Well traveled side road but quiet otherwise.

The price is now $15 for primitive. A nice, simple campground and the oyster bar next door is a good time. I would definitely recommend.

Its saturday evening in spring break and the place is very crowded. Spectacular view on Osorno Vulcano.

Really nice and quiet waterfall, just 2 min drive and 5 min walk from the mainroad. With the car you can drive as far as google maps says. then there is a walk bridge. Park there and follow the small footpath along the river downstream. 5 min and then you should be there. First a small one where people wash, but walk a bit further and then there is a bigger one
