This place is amazing!! Came in yesterday around 3pm, only 2 other campers here so plenty of space. We didn’t look for any facilities just used our own so I’m not sure about that but it’s so peaceful, quiet, and safe we will definitely be returning. And can’t beat the fact that it’s free! Fire pits, picnic tables, trash cans, wildlife views. Incredible place. We stayed here last night to hike the canyons today.

Right off or 318, this was a perfect place for us to camp right off the road but also tucked away from the sight of traffic. You can still hear the traffic on the road, and in the morning, air traffic was pretty loud, but wasn't a problem. The gate has seen better days, but we made sure to keep it as closed as we found it. Easy for 2WD, you just have to pick the right path, or walk it to knock the large rocks out of the way first. The ground is soft, so bringing any large rigs risks getting stuck..

A quiet camp area by a small waterway. Multiple spaces on either side of the water, most with a picnic table and a garbage can. Flush toilets, but no running water or power. Minimal road noise. Per previous comments, the main garbage by the toilets is overflowing, with some but not too much spread throughout the area

Huge place, ample space, lots of trees for shade (with falling mangoes, so we parked on the lawn near the pool). Pool, natural swimming pond, lots of animals including some very vocal geese and peacocks. There are also several cabanas for rent, so there were people and some music, but we had a quiet and safe night. As we didn’t need electricity or water, we asked if the price could be reduced from a bit expensive 150.000 (for 1 night, 2 persons, 1 camper) to 100.000 GS, and that was ok. And you can pick mangoes :-)

Very nice place to spend the night. The café and parking area are lovely. Only thing that is a bit of an issue is the height of the trees.
With our sprinter we could drive all the way in, because of lo hanging branches.
They ask for 100L per night. Lovely owners.
Totally recommended.

We have been here in December 2020 and liked it very much. Sonwe cam back again. Its Quiet. Choose campsites 4or 5. We love the red dunes and do not mind to pay a bit mire than usual- as it is for the beautiful scenery. The sundowner drive is nice. We recommend Bagatelle.

This place is great! Nice open space, road to arrive is a little tight. Good place for vans and anything smaller than 7m long. Clean bathrooms and shower and really nice owners. $6 per night per person and does have access to electricity. 10 minute walk to the waves.

Worth every penny.

Very quiet and well structured place. With drinking water, hot shower until 9 pm and 24-hour bathrooms. Well protected from the wind for cooking, as there are many grills, and with some options for 220v outlets, get there early if you want outlets.

Great place for a hearty authentic meal. Cold beer, shady patio with a great view.

The owner Marcus is a knowledgeable surfer with tips for the right spots and they also rent Surfboards.

They are expanding in the coming months to add a second floor which will make the most epic view of the La Fortuna surf.

Highly recommend stopping in for a happy hour drink and snack.

This is a nice place in San Pancho. The owner is very cool it’s a very social environment small and doesn’t have a lot of space but the people are extremely friendly and everyone has been great here.

Metal work or any type. This is the place. Leaf springs. Suspension. Machining. Fabricating.
This shop has been run by the family for 30 years. They know stuff. They have tools. They can fix stuff.
Find them on Facebook or call the sister in the office at +54 9 2964 54-1712.
Don’t waste time at other shops like we did. Get stuff done right.
