Description
5 km from entrance (before gravel road, on the right side at the asphalt road) of Punta Tombo, you will find an estancia were you could stay overnight. We get warm showers, Cafe and a diner at the evening. Diego cooked the best lamp ragout we ever had. The Estancia is specialliced for lamp. We paid 400 Pesos for parking and using the showers and bathrooms. You could also rent a room. Nearest spot to stay before Punta Tombo, cause in the park it was not allowed. Recommended!

The place was in the right location for us. We arrived as stranded travelers with a broke down car. They drove us to a cell connection spot in order to call a tow truck. They did not charge us, very very nice people.

Report Check-InGreat spot, in our opinion worth the USD 10 pp. Very convenient for Punta Tombo. You can use their bathroom but no shower unless you get offered the staff shower. They offered 3 options for dinner at USD 14. We had the meat stew which was delicious and a huge portion. They offer beers and bottles of wine, too.

www.holidayfour.com We had an amazing time in this hacienda. We only drove there because it was close to punta tombo. We were greeted warmly by the staff when we drove inside. You can either use it as a camping spot or to rent a room. The best is you get the perfect view of the traditional life of Patagonia. The owner showed us how the Gauchos shaved the sheep to get Marino wool since he owns the land. They cooked the best food we had in Argentina. For example the besz empanadas and the best lamb we ever had. Breakfast lunch and dinner everything was an amazing experience for us. The staff was extremely friendly and it felt like we stayed Among friends. And the very best the owner offered us for for 30 dollar per person a drive to his beach where he has a animal reserve for sea elephants. We first swam together and then walked up to three meters away from them. He explained everything about the animals. All in all the best decision ever to stay here
Report Check-InThe owners allowed us to pitch a tent by the main building, but they are not really campgrounds here. The place is an Estancia mostly oriented towards foreign tourists. They do serve great meals but overpriced for our budget. There are open bathrooms but no showers.
Report Check-Inupdated to the actual location, look for a house with some cabanas on the right side, white gate just past it. The price is indeed steep. For putting up my tent in a not so clean site with no access to showers for 10$US and dinner another 20$US. But a VERY Nice quiet place! wish there would be something else close to the entrance of Punta Tombo.
Report Check-InOverpriced! We payed 10USD pax for a night. The owner and the farm are nice anyway. No showers if you don’t book a room for 100USD. Take the 30 min. and drive to Cabo Raso!
Report Check-InCo-ord not quite correct, continue towards Punta Tomba and next house on right. 200 per person and 350 per person for dinner (+ 210 for wine). Not the Estancia We were expecting more a small farm with passable facilities., Their farm includes 14k of coast land and offered a trip to see Elephant Seals for $35 pp. we felt this too expensive. Punta Tombo entrance is 320 per person.
