A lovely homestay, run by a lovely family. I had a great stay and can recommend this place to everyone.

Currently closed, no indication of if or when it might re-open. Gate is padlocked. Grass appears to have been cut recently.

the parking lot in the back of the building, accessed off F Street, has great wifi even after hours.

relatively level spot with a boat launch access. empty tonight aside from a pickup and a boat trailer but no people. we pulled in at midnight on saturday night. ambulance with a utility trailer plus a motorcycle (hammock tent). lots of places to hang a hammock on large cottonwoods. great spot for a night.

Typical Walmart location. Very quiet area. No issues.

Really enjoyed this place. We went on the cliff for the campsite and saw a beautiful sunset and sunrise. Calm and peaceful place.
I highly recommand to camp there :)

Good place for the night. Quite and clean with some cell service. There where 4 others when I arrived.

Large gravel space, close to Port Hardy and the ferry terminal. Room for numerous vehicles: six when we arrived last night, three still here in the morning. Two picnic tables, no signage against stopping. Easy to spot with the large wind turbine blade display.

Nice little place. Attended The Frogs concert after dusk but The Fireman where a no-show. woke up to a perfect sunrise and admired the healthy cattle around. mama duck has a long line of offspring that she tours around the lake. was there in a van.

The large parking lot is still open. no services. close to the national park.

Lovely riverside spot with a great mountain view. Super quiet. Couple other campers there. On the outskirts of a residential area right next to people’s houses, so be considerate. Smithers is super friendly to travellers, lets keep it that way! :)

as described, 3-4 camp areas passed on the way to this one. only 1 taken. arrived 7pm friday night. pleasantly surprise how quite it was except for a few gunshots in the distance for the first 30mins of our arrival. nice would stay again

there is cell service with Rogers while down at the lake facing east towards Campbell River

Lots of folks here as some of the other first come first served spots in the park were full or closed on a July weekend. Flat spots, put toilets, not much road noise

Beautiful spot but should be listed as closed. Spent last night here only to find a bylaw officer had left a warning letter on my windshield threatening a $150 fine. This place is not Van friendly.

clean facilities and friendly, helpful staff. brightly lit parking. very busy, arrive early if you plan to stay the night.

nice place, good road. lots of spots near the river. was travelling with 20ft rv 6m.

Quite place, clean bathrooms, fee wifi, $5pp park entrance, you can spend the night near the museum or by the sulphurous water Pool.
