Hot shower... need I say more? Just ring the bell of the Tienda and the owner will show up. I paid 50 bob for a night and was able to wash all the salt from my bike. She let me use the kitchen also to boil eggs and didn't charge. Probably best place in town.

Large gravel parking lot across from Citgo station at the end of the riverfront boardwalk. As you drive in and face the river , there is a spot to the right behind trees that is a little more private. Stayed here and listened to the waterfront concert across the river. Some slight city noise, but low light and mostly quiet. We stayed on a Saturday night and Sunday morning around six the walker started coming by.

Magnifique petit Lago Azul pour se baigner. Possibilité d'y passer la nuit avec des petits camping cars. Sanitaires, douches extérieures, électricité, un peu de wifi. Petites baraques où les locaux préparent à manger. Attention beaucoup de monde le week-end 😏

Great views, but that's about it. LOTS of traffic. There were kids blaring their music and speeding down the forest road at 1am and again as early as 615am.
Saturday night right before sunset, a kid and his girlfriend stopped by to their shoot gun....on the spur trail that leads to the crag right there. 🙄 And folks kept pulling up into the area, staying for 10-15 minutes, and then leaving. At all hours of the night. Not to mention the woman and her kid that did stay, in their car, and kept waking the rest of us there up everytime she started her vehicle to turn on the AC rather than just rolling down the windows.
We would not stay here again. It's just too noisy.

What a fantastic hiding gem in the midst of the national parks. This is my second time writing this check in as the first was lost from the buggy app. So here goes nothing once again.

There are multiple spots per road going down to the lake. If you think it’s taken, go down it anyways. 4x4 and lift recommended. Anicha

The spot is filled with mosquitoes, horse flies, and other annoying flying creatures. Bring bring bring bug spray, a healthy amount. One friend who is semi-retarded said he found bear track, was very confident about it too. My other friend disagreed. There’s also a potential of wolves.

So if it’s not the bugs or the mosquitoes, beware of people out there with guns (not to scare you). Make sure you love thy neighbor.

Large gas station. Potable water is out on the front right parking row, across from the fuel pumps.

Had a quiet night there. It had rained a lot the days prior, so there were big puddles and small streams everywhere, but no problem since the ground is rocky. No problems with 2wd accessing the place.

Gorgeous!!! Right by the water, wide open mountain views. Eagles. Quiet highway at night. There is the occasional train but I personally find it adds to the charm. Two other campers here. Don’t think we’ll be bothered. Lots of places along the Hwy going to Prince Rupert to choose from, but this is one of the prettiest. Glad I stopped here instead of continuing to PR. Heaven!!

Small Campground with some cabins at the lake. As the office was closed, I called the attendant. He told me that the rate is 58$ plus tax. We should take a spot and he would collect the fee in the evening. When he finally arrived, the fee came up to 97$ inkl. tax. This price is way to expensive so we decided to move on. It's a pitty, because the view over the lake is great and there is a good pebble beach.

lots of cars ,trucks ,Rv ,travel trailer. not sure about staying. read a review and someone stated the city ordnance would charge a fine.

on y a passé la nuit en van promaster. c'est un endroit où les camions arrêtent pour la nuit. les sanitaires propres sont ouverts toute la nuit et il y a un bon wifi. seul hic : camions bruyants et près de la 20 donc il faut s'attendre à un fond sonore ;)

Wow, just enjoyed a beautiful night right along the Pacific Ocean ! Had a barbecue at a nearby picnic table . ( fab grocery store with wine beer across the street ) We counted 15 Beach campfires at spectacular canon beach ) . No one bothered us ( although there is one small sign posted no parking , we took the chance) . What an amazing spot!

Super fun stop for all kinds of food, ice cream and everything “cheese” . A lot of line- ups at 2 pm on a Saturday, but we were not in a hurry. Kind of pricey!

This spot is only a large flat pull off of a dirt road but it's very quiet. Only 2 cars passed in 2 days. There are a couple established sites down the road but u need to reserve them for free.

This spot is across the small highway for the other post. You can follow the power poles for a mile in each direction. The road under the lines is gravel and flat. There are tons of places to park. This spot is right next to a pretty deep and clean creek. In one pool I saw four 6" trout. Nice spot for you to cool off, it's about 4' deep and clean! The dogs also like it.

Flat gravel lot with water and electric hook ups. Good for big rigs. Up hill gravel road to the camp ground. 1km from East Trail trailhead.

A lodge that allowed us to camp. Right under some trees on the beach. Will need to negotiate. We paid 30,000 for 4 people. Includes access to a squat toilet and shower. Room with flush western toilet a hot shower 25,000 and 30,000. Chicken and rice 7,000 and beers 2,000. Pleasant enough place. Immigration came checked us out.

the parking lot in the back of the building, accessed off F Street, has great wifi even after hours.

relatively level spot with a boat launch access. empty tonight aside from a pickup and a boat trailer but no people. we pulled in at midnight on saturday night. ambulance with a utility trailer plus a motorcycle (hammock tent). lots of places to hang a hammock on large cottonwoods. great spot for a night.
