Camping in Barra Nova beach. It has water, 220v electricity, Wi-Fi, 2 clean bathroms. In front of the beach, beatiful place. We payed R$30 pp. When using GPS, you get in a closed white gate. Just open and get in to speak with the keeper.

it’s a rest stop. exactly as everyone described. there are guys that come rummaging for cans, they’re nice they don’t bother anyone. lots of people in campers and vans for the night but also lots of passers by coming to rest. bathrooms are ok, signs posted that say no more than 12 hours of parking but i don’t see any cameras or employees to enforce that but maybe just don’t make it obvious that you’re posted up here if you are here for more than 12 hours. t mobile service as well.

Established campground in a mature conifer forest. Full amenities, nice hiking trails. Very expensive: $70 for out of state

A little clearing in the forest. There is a stream but the access is rough a little. Next time i would not go that far on the FSR and just sleep at any turnout.

Huge fuel station with great movement, can complete water but not drinking. The bath is warm, but the bathrooms are dirty is a free bath if you supply the car. Noise of a neighboring industry. Try to park on the right side of the entrance, as it is farther from the noise. good for
overnight

Really nice campsite, we had many elephants crossing our camp and the hide is spectacular.

Only thing is that we really did not feel welcome here with our little kids (2 and 4). When we arrived the owner mentioned directly that she didn’t hope a lot of families would follow our example to come with their kids (which didn’t gave us a really welcome feeling as you might understand) . The owner gave us the most isolated site so we could not ‘disturb’ the other guests (which was a great one by the way… number 19). Everywhere there are signs that ask children not to come there, not to do certain thing, to be silent, not to jump etc. (The most briljant one I put attached.)

I think this place is awesome, but not really suitable for little kids (what I can understand), but maybe they should just don’t allow kids instead of chasing families away like this.

We spent one night here. As far as rest stops go it was quite clean. There are picnic tables and trees. Nice place to stay in a pinch.

Great area to stop in! We stayed overnight in the grassy area and then moved further east to a beach spot for the day. Tons of options.
The lower, grassy area has no signal at all. 2-3 bars LTE w/ Verizon on the beach. Water was nice and warm compared to the surrounding rivers!
Dogs had plenty of room to play in both spots.
