Other descriptions are accurate, it's super close to tetagouche, but otherwise there aren't really any trails here unless you are into bushwhacking. I will say I am here in June and all state parks are packed and don't have any vacancies for ages! but it's already 7pm here and there are quite a few spaces left. Not as busy even though it's so close. Also it's $17/ night now

The lodge, just up the road is cheaper gas. If you stay there it's even cheaper. The gut here said Watson Lake is 177miles away.

There is an abandoned homestead here, if you are into that sort of thing and great views ast the house of the bridge and river. It is better IMO then the other side of the bridge and you can bring bigger rigs here.

Stopped here yesterday, had it not been for this pin I probably wouldn't have. I am glad I did. Sucks there is graffiti on the rail, but I was able to crop it out in photos. Also, an added bonus, a small plane flew over the lake and I got to get it on video. A must stop! Added photos.

They had cheaper gas then the place just south of here. It is 170 miles from Watson Lake. The gas is cheaper if you are staying there. Restrooms were clean.

Should have got gas here, the next two stations (before Watson Lake) were more expensive. Clean restrooms and the park has a laundromat. Beautiful Stop.

I would go in this entrance, it is not as overgrown. The next one up is a loop from this one. There were two huge (older) rvs that look like they have been there a while. Other than that is was beautiful. The river is rushing by here and there is an old (enter at your own risk) bridge that I drove across no issues.

Woke up here. It was OK for the night nothing special. There are signs in town (almost everywhere) saying no overnight parking. Next time I will just get gas, water and move on, not much else here.

We drove by but there are signs posted on the west end saying no overnight parking. It’s a 24 gym so maybe you can get away with it, but we went next door to Lowe’s. There are no signs there

Parking just next to Stanley Beach, at the end of Stanley Road. No sign indicating camping is not permitted. We asked someone at the Rotary Isle Estate, just next to the parking and she said she did not know about any restriction and that a lot of people had already stayed for the night without any troubles.
The place is quiet with only a little noise from the road and the harbour.

Beautiful spot. Easy gravel road coming up. No potholes or washboard roads. Any sedan or Class A could make it up here. I just pulled off on one of the many pull-offs. Excellent cell service: full bars TMobile 5G and Verizon LTE. can hear the river below. Barely any car noise since this is a gravel road and away from the main HWY. I would most definitely stay here again.

An excellent and well run attraction. Extremely educational visit learning everything about the importance of crocodiles in the ecosystem. They have baby crocodiles you can hold, through to very large specimens. Set in lovely gardens. Owner Sue is passionate about the environment. Open for entry from 08-12h and 14-16h daily. Tours last about 90mins. Adults: BWP 50 for locals / BWP 100 for foreigners; 6-12 years BWP 10 gor locals/ BWP 40 for foreigners; under 5 free.
Highly recommended.

We got a big maintenance for our European Fiat Ducato at this place. Dropped the car at 9am and could pick it up at 1pm. Paid a reasonable price (probably more then at a not-official garage, but the car needed a good check-up) and they were very professional! Oil change, cleaned diesel filter, new oil filter, new airco filter… can recommend this place! They washed the car too

Says you need a permit but no one was there to enforce it. While the drive was fine for my little 2WD sedan (a few middle puddles and potholes), I can’t recommend going in June. It is indeed a swamp, full of swamp bugs, and they will swarm you and your vehicle. Luckily I just needed a quick spot to sleep, but cooking outside the vehicle was out of the question. Even running out for a quick pee had me mobbed by bugs, so I pretty much locked myself in. I’m sure it’s great when it’s cooler out

open till 11p on Friday. large lot with many tractor trailers overnighting and many vanlifers. plenty of room, well-lit but still with a few darker shady-er spots. Wi-Fi is good if you're close to the building.

Pretty much as described by others. Grassy slope next to the lake with fire rings. Only one site had a picnic table. Free for 5 days without electrical hookup. There was one other vehicle camped on a Friday evening. We used the picnic shelter for our dinner and breakfast, which had electrical outlets and lights. Pit toilets were clean. Lots of birds! Saw a few deer. Mosquitos chased us into our tent in the evening because we couldn’t find our repellent. Overall a great place.
