Report Check-In

A girl knocked on my windows asking for crack, otherwise great night.

Lots of other Rv and cars, cleans toilets, phone signal & the noise from the highway isn’t too bad.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Clean and safe. There is highway and train noise, but manageable.

Report Check-In

pretty noisy (highway+train) but not too bad for a night. Clean flushable toilets. One RV had his generator running all night (booo bad RV guy) but there is enough place to be far from any other vehicle. (at least in march).

Report Check-In

Not a bad place to stay. Lots of other camper vans there and we weren’t bothered.

Report Check-In

Great spot in the winter. Roads to it are plowed and the rest stop itself is plowed. Warm bathrooms with running water. Nice and quiet despite being by the highway.

Report Check-In

Great place to spend the night. This is my second night as I wanted to stay in the area to explore. Lots of other vehicles also stayed the night. Very quiet for a rest stop off the highway.
If you’re here in November drive up to Kirby PP to see the eagles feeding on salmon. Also Bridal Vail Falls PP is worth a look.

stayed here last night because the gravel lot across the road was full (by 3pm) of people who look like they’ve been set up there long term. good sized rest area, tons of picnic tables. 8hr parking not enforced, stayed from about 3pm-9am without issues.

seems like a fairly popular rest stop. everything is in a one way loop so people will drive by you no matter where you are. couldn’t really hear the highway throughout the night. a few trains passed by. 2 bars 3G with Telus. overall good spot, i’d stay here again.

Report Check-In

Good spot to stop for a night. 4-5 camper was there.

Report Check-In

clean facilities, although run down.
level parking.
looks like a few long term visitors are parked by the creek. we just needed one night so we stayed in the parking lot. quiet in our ambulance, but there's highway and train noise. I can't change the star rating for some reason so ignore that.

Report Check-In

Standard rest area on the side of the highway.

Report Check-In

This rest area is set back a bit from the highway. Slept here last night. Felt safe, there were a couple other RVs as well. Room for big rigs. Aside from the occasional train near by blowing its horn, and the sound of trucks in the distance - it was quiet.

Trans Canada Rest Area - Hunter Creek Road - West of Hope, BC

MULTIPLE RIG capacity - potable water from drinking fountain mounted on wall of comfort station.

Numerous picnic tables on peripheral grassed area surrounding paved parking area. Each table is provided with a sand filled plastic ice-cream bucket for snuffing butts.

Covered info board area provides interesting tid-bits on the surrounding area.

Stopped here when it got too dark to drive. Perfect rest stop to stay for the night. Reasonably clean toilets and water. Loads of RVs stayed the night here, lots of space. Pretty noisy highway and honking trains all night (why?!) but can’t have it all!

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

A large comfortable rest stop good for sleeping. At least 6 other campers here the night I stayed. Lots of room
