Report Check-In

This is an awesome spot with bathrooms. One bathroom was open after closing hours.
I wish I knew about this spot before my trip started.
I visited in December so the forest was coated in snow.
Roughly 15min from the lake.
The road up is residential & was plowed.
The parking lot was also plowed so my 2wd van didn’t have any problems.
Nice and quit spot.

Report Check-In

Great spot for a night or two. Lots of parking spaces, couple other vans and a few car-sleepers. There are restrooms but they’re only open dawn to dusk. It was very quiet and tucked away so no traffic noise over night. Lots of trail heads leave from this lot so would be cool to explore if you’ve got the time.

Report Check-In

Great spot to spend a night when in Lake Tahoe area. Stayed 2 nights with a few other vans - pretty quiet and no issues at all. Recommend doing the hike to Castle Rock for great sunset views!

Report Check-In

Great spot, stayed 1 night no issues. Quiet and private overnight, in the morning a lot of people started showing up to use the trail but that was expected. Good T-Mobile service, was able to work and do zoom calls no problem.

Report Check-In

Wow what a gem of a spot. Quiet, flat, lots of spots, bathroom, right outside of the main drag. 2 bars 5GE on ATT. Arrived around 930pm on a Friday and only 2 others vans here.

Report Check-In

Accidentally discovered this spot.
Didn’t see any signs forbidding overnight parking, nor camping. There was a group of people camping in tents. A couple of minivans and a trailer. They all stayed here overnight.

The place is super cool and quiet.
Worth spending a couple of days here and exploring the trails. Stars at night are incredible.

Restrooms on the site.
Good LTE & 5G signal (AT&T)
