alifemoreextraordinary.net | AMAZING location! I went a longer, much less steep, way to get here. I’ve included a photo of the route. Go past the turn off that goes to the base of the steep hill in the original post. Up a mile or so there is a rough road on the right with a sign tacked to a tree that says “Slough Road” - turn right here, then turn right again at every opportunity. The rough is rough, looks to be muddy in the wet season, and has some low hanging trees. Prob not good for big rigs or trailers. I did it in an AWD Ford Transit with no problem other than a few tree limb scapes on the roof. It was slow going, but absolutely, positively, worth the effort for this view! |

Humble Bumble | Good number of designated and some non designated sites along a paved FS road. Easy access and seems to be a variety of sized rigs from cars to TT. The gate just opened a couple days ago and filling up fast for the holiday weekend. Most spots seem to have a rock fire ring but you need a free permit and need to make sure no ban. I'm right on the edge of having Verizon LTE, I was further back in and lost the signal. Data slow but usable. Yours to enjoy protect and keep clean. |

We found this Municipal Bathhouse, it was abandoned. There was drinking water, barbecue, the bathrooms were closed and there is no Internet and TIM and Claro cell phones have no signal. But the place has a very beautiful beach, with transparent and bluish waters, we stayed one night here. We really enjoyed the place because it was just ours. |

hashii13 | Great place to park for the night. Just check with owners and eat at their restaurant to thank them! The restaurant is great: super friendly staff, and tasty food. Park in the lot behind the restaurant. Large and flat gravel lot (a few holes in the centre) but great for our fifth wheel. Lot backs onto green space and marina! Couldn’t get a better spot for the night. |

A very long Honeymoon | Great spot! Secluded, safe, cool climate, great views both sunset and sunrise, there is even Kolbi service. After sunrise we drove to the Quetzal road with the many iOverlander spots for Quetzal sightings north of this spot but did not get lucky unfortunately. Highly recommended! |

Greg Goldsmith | At the beginning of the Memorial Day weekend, we were surprised how few people are in this lovely spot out in the flats of the Owens Valley. The hot spring is great at 104F, the other folks here are pleasant. It’s a bit windy, with no protection. Plenty of parking, although some spots are sloped and would need leveling blocks. Road in is suitable for any vehicle, with a bit of washboard. There are many other locations close by if this one was not to your liking. |

follow_nadle | From Sigchos (Starlight Inn) you can start the three-day hike to the Quilotoa Laguna. First day you hike until Isinliví (LluLlu Llama Mountain Lodge), second day until Chugchilán (Black Sheep Inn) and on the third day to the Quilotoa Laguna. From there you can take a Bus or Taxi to different destinations. Overall they are 36 km and 2'200 altitude to overcome. A beautiful and impressive hike through the Andes. |

beachouse81 | Just like it’s name - clean and simple. First carpeted laundromat I’ve seen! Restroom, change available, vending machines, a wall of dryers, and various sized washing machines. Parking in front and back. Large rigs can fit in the front but driving through the back would be tight on the turns. |

stephanwagner.me | Seems to be closed at the moment. First the soldiers told me to get the visa from Yerevan. On of them spoke a little English and asked me to wait. He then made a couple of phone calls, then told me smiling that I indeed can get a visa here and that I can pass. Unfortunately the Russian post a couple kilometres down the road wouldn’t let me pass. I had all the documents, but again I was asked to wait. One of the soldiers made a phone call and then let me know by Google translate that Nogorno-Karabakh is closed for tourists. |

spenced | Wonderful. I drove in the area a bit and checked out the other wild camp spots on here and this was the only one I saw w open flat ground. There’s a water control mini dam like structure that produces fairly loud waterfall sound that I find relaxing like white noise by ymmv. Views of the water are great. 2-3 bars Verizon lte. |

blessedveteran | I found this place on Google. It is a really nice laundromat with brand new machines. They take quarters or you can pay with an app. The prices are expensive but with how nice it is it might be worth it. To do a small load of clothes and all my bedding it cost 9.25 for a 22 min wash and 2.75 for a 32 min dry. It was clean, organized, staffed, TV, free food bread, apples, oranges (looks like donated maybe?). There are carts and folding tables. The bathroom is big and clean. Probably one of the nicest laundromats I've been to. There are a lot of good reviews and photos on Google as well as a message from the owners. I would use this place again. |
