Traveling from Armenia to Nogorno-Karabakh. 2021 Need Visa from Yerevan first
No crossing thru Corridor by Russia without Visa.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Seems to be closed at the moment.
First the soldiers told me to get the visa from Yerevan. On of them spoke a little English and asked me to wait. He then made a couple of phone calls, then told me smiling that I indeed can get a visa here and that I can pass. Unfortunately the Russian post a couple kilometres down the road wouldn’t let me pass. I had all the documents, but again I was asked to wait. One of the soldiers made a phone call and then let me know by Google translate that Nogorno-Karabakh is closed for tourists.
Report Check-InNo crossing without Visa.
Need to get Visa from Erivan first. Russia don't let you pass without Visa.
That's true. You get your visa here and it's for free. Also, you can keep it when departing the country.
Report Check-InNew routine - you get visa right here for free. No need to go to MoFA in Stepanakert
Report Check-Ineasy crossing, just passport check. you get paper with address of visa office in stepanakert.
Report Check-InSimple checkpoint. They register your passport and car documents in a "big book" and you can proceed. Very friendly, took no more then 5 minutes. You are required to buy a visa in Stepanakert- this document will be checked upon leaving the country. Clean toilets too :-) Nothing to pay
