We share our "Special Campsite" with self-drive visitors especially because there are no "public" campsites at the Mara river on the Serengeti side at all. You are also welcome to come camp with us at Ndutu during the calving season!

We stayed one night in our van, very quite and safe, price still 60 for two people, toilets are unclean but useable. No wifi. Gates closes at 8pm now but might be because we came in autumn.

Ocorreu tudo bem durante a noite. Os cachorros são amigáveis e não incomodaram durante a noite. Funcionário indicou o estacionamento para clientes, em frente aos caminhões, e nenhum barulho nos incomodou. Há tomadas de energia nos 3 postes que iluminam o estacionamento de caminhões. Lá tem também mesas e churrasqueiras. O funcionário nos mostrou onde ficam 3 torneiras pra abastecer o carro com água. Há banheiros. Tem um kiosko próximo que fica aberto 24h.

All went well during the night. The dogs are friendly and didn't bother you at night. Employee indicated the parking lot for customers, in front of the trucks, and no noise bothered us. There are power outlets on the 3 posts that light up the truck parking. There are also tables and grills. The employee showed us where there are 3 faucets to fill the car with water. Are there bathrooms. There is a kiosko close by that is open 24 hours.

Local muito tranquilo e o pessoal do kiosk muito gente boa, recomendo, ficamos em três motorhome.

A really great place to stay and must to see. (The bus at the picture is the one of the workers who are rebuilding inside)

Lugar bom para passar algumas horas.

Cool spot with an established fire ring. If you have a heavy rig, there’s a lot of soft sand you might not be able to make it through. This spot was perfect for us. See photo.

Dumping place with freshwater works perfect, thank you Irving Gas Station.

There is a hose available but it’s a garden hose that has been baking in the sun for who knows how long
Behind a fence that is accessible via an unlocked gate
Can park your rig close to the spigot, probably need a 10’ hose at least

Still there, easy parking. Nothing much to take away and eat (ie: sandwiches) but lots of cold drinks, some meat and veg, all the basics you’d want in packets and tins.

Almost 2 years after October 2020 comments, their metre is still broken! Good reason to charge way to much for what we needed… $36.40 for half a tank when it cost us previously less than $10… if you have no choice…

Bad place for a tent , there is no roof , its full of trucks and very noise and there is a lot of garbage everywhere.The attendants are very friendly and there is clean bathrooms but only one has a sit , the others are a hole in the floor .There is paid showers with hot water .

Banheiros sao limpos , mas sao do tipo letrina , so tem um com assento .Tem chuveiro quiente por 5 reais .A galera do posto è boa gente .

This spot is out in the open and I thought I would get a knock for sure (especially since we are the only ones here) but we had no issues. The road is fairly busy early but I would stay here again. Huge plus: There is grass for the dog!

Gas station, store, and visitor center all here too when you wake up!

I live in the town and the night watch of the police toss out campers every night. Most move to the Park and Ride at the York exit off the Maine Turnpike (10min away) or Kittery Trading Post. (20min away).

As described, large open spaces for 2-3 small camps. Seems to be a “hunter’s camp” so I might avoid during season. Overall clean, did pick up several shotgun casing. Saw ducks, mule deer, a bald eagle, and signs of beaver . Stayed two nights.

Rv Park with camp store, laundry, possibly ice. Dump is $15. Honor pay if nobody around.

Google Maps says this place is closed but it’s open. Open 7am-8pm daily.

Passamos uma noite e foi muito tranquilo, ganhamos 2 banhos gratuitos, alguns caminhões foram nossos vizinhos, mas pra quem não liga pro barulho é tranquilo, os banheiros ficam abertos a noite toda, é muito limpo e organizado.

Very nice spot. Not completely even, but ok. People which work for the national park were friendly and just said hello.
The spring is 100m away from the spot. Think it's potable.

I think 4x4 is not needed but ground clearance definitely is.

This paved road alongside the Snake River runs through BLM land per the US Public Lands app. This was the first spot along the road that was not occupied. I think the holiday weekend is going to be busy. Very quiet at night. Required one block to get level. One bar LTE service. No shade or amenities. On hill overlooking the river.

planet fitness lot. shared by many truckers along with vandwelling people. lot had quite a few cars in it all night. no troubles.

Next to the paid parking there’s a dump station.

Highly recommended! Extremely nice family and for 6000 Colones or 10 USD you get everything - showers, bathroom, electricity, wifi, water...
