Still available. Room for one small or medium rig only. We didn't stay but looks good if the night catches you by surprise. There's hardly any traffic on the main road in case you are worried about its proximity to it.

A very nice restaurant with delicious food.
Camping is on the parkingspot without shade, power and privacy due to restaurant visitors.
The shower is just a pipe out of the wall with cold seewater and not very inviting.
We asked for a good shower in the clean rooms, but managment didn't allow, even nobody was there.
No potable water available here.

Keep going up the dirt road to check all your options; 4-5 great river view spots. Lolita recreation area at the end of the dirt road with showers, picnic area, and hiking trail!

Very nice, flat place over the small lake Lesinitsa. No service at all.
For those travelling the mountain tracks Livadhja - Cerkovicë - Kakavie it is a nice place to recover from driving challenging steep, narrov bad tracks, not suitable for big rigs.

Everything went well...but very expensive border.
Took us 3 hours

pretty straight forward until aduana office. People wave to tell you were to go. There was a monstruous line of trucks at 8 in the morning. We passed them all as the drivers were inviting us to do so.

Important things to know:
You need covid PCR test for all, even if your vaccinated, even if you're a baby as of end of May 2022.
They check your tests at the entrance in nica.

They only accept US cash at the migracion office ($12 US pp for tourist card) + $12 por adminastive fees (i think). receipt for all. They would accept cordoba but then they will go change it to the dealers for you (while you wait).. We were not sure about the currency deals so we went to change ourselves.

Then to the scanner, they saw our dog, came to see him. Out of nowhere asked us $24 US. Gave us a receipt.

So we left the border completely broke since we had to do 4 covid tests (for us + our 2 childs under 3). $200 for PCR tests + $60 at migracion + $24 for the dog.

Pretty expensive border, be prepared ;)

Going to stay for a couple nights $30.25 a night. That’s for full hook up. Nice hot showers and laundry.

We realize to need one more night as we arrive here. It’s a paradise to take rest for your long journey. Owner elsa who speak English is operating one independent casa for guests next her house. It’s real ‘feel like home’ place(maybe it’s better than). By booking.com, you can reserve this place(review : exceptional). It’s better to use google map(same name) to come here. You can find everything what travelers want, correct infos-terrace with hammock-private parking lot(not for big rigs though)-spacious kitchen-‘very clean’ bathroom etc. In the morning, with a cup of coffee I enjoy the hummingbirds’ singing.

30-site campground on Youghiogheny River Lake, run by Army Corps of Engineers. Reservable on Recreation.gov for up to a 14-day stay; I think reservations may be required May-Sept. $15/night.

Potable water spigots and dump station. Bathrooms w. flush toilets (no showers). The lake looks lovely, has a boat launch and swim beach; water still feels a bit cool. I had 1 bar Verizon LTE, but steady enough to do work and even watch videos.

Only a few people here midweek before Memorial Day so it was very pleasant and mellow, but I imagine it can get packed during high summer weekends. Lots of tall trees for shade but sites are close together without much to separate them. A few sites down by the lake were occupied by larger trailers, but most sites look too small for large rigs and room to maneuver is a bit tight. (I was pulling an 11' trailer with my van and had to sort of jacknife into my site.) Pretty much any site would be fine for vans/truck campers/tents.

Also, if you are coming from the northwest and Google Maps tries to take you on the road that hugs the eastern shore of the lake, find another route... this road is marked as private/no trespassing just north of the campground, so I had to turn around (no fun with a trailer).

Beautiful spot, tons of birds and trees, and relatively cheap for Maryland. Looks like it is free September-May (though they shut off water/bathrooms). A great find!

perfect campsite ( granite)! beautiful place, beautiful hiking trail and amazing night with so much stars! And owners are very nice. Kids love this place!

Highly recommend this tour! It is great to see Uros and yordi is very friendly and explains everything well. We paid 20 soles per person plus 8 entry and bought some nice handicrafts. Parking during the tour in front of the church was safe.

Fantastic views of a lovely soft Sandy beach! No services and weak if existent cell signal. We had a quiet night.

We spent one very quiet night here. We were on the road from Costa Rica to Honduras, so fine for a quick stop. Secured and safe. We paid 50C. Fishermen come in the morning to clean their fish but not too noisy and not that early.

Awesome find! 400/night for 2 people in private room with hot shower including secure parking! The garage door is probably around 3 metres high give or take. Perfect spot in the city, close to the action, but quiet at night. Good wifi. Way better option than San Nicolás RV park. Only thing to note is to turn the hot water on full for 10 minutes before you want to get in the shower for it to become hot, but then it is super hot! Isabel was also helpful in navigating the road blocks leaving the city, her brother is a police officer.

A great place. Loved the raised stairs which made washing easier. One bag has these.

au bout d'un voie sans issue, uniquement pour van, pas de camping car, 3 places maxi, non loin de la voie express, mais pour la nuit c'est bien.

Still a good option to camp on this road. 10 soles for 2 and a car. A bit noisy because of the road. Try to go as further as you can.

Primo water fill machine in the back of the store by beverages. 39c a gallon. I filled my 7gal reliance here

Easy in and out midday, midweek. $4 for the private “family” shower room. Even with bringing your own towel it’s a steal compared to any truck stop!

Established campground mainly focused on seasonal, but lots of sites available with some trees and little ponds.
