A very nice spot, if you drive up to the hotel just before you turn, turn right at wooden sign on the bumpy road into the woods, after 2 km you will reach a small pitch right next to the trail, it has a wonderful view down, at night wonderful sunset. We would recommend a car with ground clearance, maybe 4x4 as well.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Dirt road was closed with a barrier. So not possible to visit with car. Instead we stayed near a playground on these coördinates: (41.0443661, 21.2140531)
Report Check-InNot a great spot for tents, as stated. However further down the road there are some picnic tables and places that could work, but is close to the road. Didn’t see any other vehicles but did see a lot of hikers. (Was a Saturday) Nice area and lots of camping for motorcyclers if you are cruising the roads throughout the area.
Report Check-InVery nice spot. Not completely even, but ok. People which work for the national park were friendly and just said hello.
The spring is 100m away from the spot. Think it's potable.
I think 4x4 is not needed but ground clearance definitely is.
