douglasedwards89 | This spot has a fire ring and enough space for two 4-person tents. I'm here on Easter weekend, and although it's very busy, it was quiet all evening and night until about 6:30-7am when everybody started packing out with their loud vehicles. The views are spectacular! |

hendrik.vermeersch | I hiked up to the mountain hut and spent the night there. Had to pay 17 usd in total. Better to buy your ticket at the office in Chimanimani because they don't always have change here. |

Cubby Van Life | We drove north from Gilman Tunnel and one cannot get to the site from this road. The gate is locked. One has to come from the northern direction. But there are many nice sites along the road up to the gate. It is Sunday and right now there are no campers set up along the road. The temperature dropped from 97 degrees to 80 degrees at 6 PM and will get cooler as the night approaches. We hope to see the Lunar Eclipse tonight! There are rattlesnakes here. Keep dogs on leash. We saw a huge brown snake camouflaged in leaves, rattling and ready to strike. |
