Lovely camp. Very friendly, food is ok. There are no signs leading up to the camp so ask for directions. They don’t offer walking safari’s or game drives if you do self drive, you have to arrange that in advance!

As described, but got the impression that facilities are in a state of decline. Taps were leaking and electrical fittings coming apart. Considering above, the rate should either be lower or campsite properly maintained.

Indeed an amazing campsite, highly recommended. Beautiful rock formations, relaxing pool, everything well cared for and clean. It's an attraction on it's own, I'd call it a must-see.

There are light posts at the campsites, but limited (solar) power, so no plug-ins. We were charged N$ 150 pppn, cash only. No WiFi, neither at camp nor at the reception. There is a bar, however no restaurant or food, unless maybe with prior reservation or in an emergency. So come prepared and unplug.

Beautiful place! We also slept on the spot further away from the road, see coordinates in previous comment. We stayed 3 nights without any problem, some locals passed by, very friendly!

Cheap, but clean and well kept inside, parking for 3 or 4 motorcycles. not secure behind gates, but out of sight on the Hotel premises next to the front door

Wanted $20 per night for the van. Weren’t willing to negotiate when we said we didn’t want any services. We didn’t stay.

Don Ronny and his assistant: very friendly, very helpful, seemingly also very competent: thorough search for the source of the mechanical "knack"-sound: fissure in frame. Organized a welder who fixed the frame. Everything fine, very fair price. We wholly recommend this place!

We arrived and the gates were closed, the security guard indicated they were not renting out spaces. We headed to Campo Meneses instead and had a great stay. Check out our review there.

Full of snow but road was scraped to pit toilets and could turn with trailer-needed 4x4 . Quiet evening and fire pits. Someone left firewood-thanks. Short walk down to frozen river. Toilets clean with paper . Will use again

good spot, no wifi and no bushes. stayed 2 nights and was woken up by plow driver (it snowed 2 feet) I was half asleep and he was very nice told me to move and they are plowing us a spot

Spent 2 nights here, beautiful spot, friendly locals, amazing views. I had one night with lot's of trafic in and out night and morning and second night I was by myself the whole time so depend the night I guess!

Beautiful spot at the river with sunset and sunrise, no flies and no wind but little noise from the passing cars.

Nhe higher you go, the windier it gets. Need to balance with highway noise. Road a bit washed on the hills but I never needed 4x4. Pick your line and should be ok, if not back up. Decent Verizon and AT&T LTE. It's windy

Clean hotel. 40 s/ without negotiation for double room. Hot water, fast wifi, garage for bikes. Spacious.

Parking lot at the Avalon Pier. Stayed overnight here in spring and had no issues. Confirmed with a worker that this time of year isn't an issue given the off-season. Not a huge parking lot, but parked in two spots with our extended length ford transit along with a 4x6 trailer.

I checked in but didn't stay. Awesome place, wonderful view. No-one else around as I travel off-season.

Busy during the day over Santa Semana. No issues overnighting. Entry (before this site) was $40/pp.

Great location that is very spaced out. Some locations have fire pits, but it can get windy so be careful. Family friendly with great views. Stayed 2 nights in two different spots. No issue during spring break mid week. plenty of spots left.

Established BLM campsite right off the road. Evans Creek runs right next to it and it's well shaded. I think you could fit any sized rig in here, the pull-in isn't very level though so be prepared for that. There's room for multiple tents too so it's pretty spacious overall. Lots of trash when we got here so try to keep it clean!

We spent two nights at Casa Aventura. One of the owners is French. They redid the whole common area and the rooms. It is a great success, clean and pretty. For the moment the van camper area is not finished but you can settle in the field next door and access the common areas. For a van and two people it's 20 dollars if you use all the common areas and 10 dollars if you only use the sanitary facilities. I recommend.

We got there in the evening and rolled into the first spot on the left as we were just spending one night to hit Sunset Crater in the morning. Site was absolutely trashed with water bottles, food cans, whiskey bottles and other random items. More than we could pick up and take with us.

Road coming in was very busy with all kinds of traffic to include dump trucks until about 11pm.

Good spot for a night but wouldn't stay longer. Maybe nicer spots further up the road.

A wonderful campsite with grass and some shade from thorn trees with views of the surrounding mountains. The week before Easter it is quiet and lovely. It was busier on the weekend and I chose a spot on the edge of the camp with wonderful views. There are chalets to rent too. Good hot showers, clean ablutions and a portapotti dump. Cafe and bar with views of the dam.

Every car has to park here now. It's a nice new gravel parking lot with clean toilets and the possibility to clean your car (with a ramp). Even filled up my water tank with the long hose. 5 sole/day. They told me it's possible to overnight for the same price.

Entry now 20 soles. No dogs allowed. You can not park here,everybody has to park at the gravel parking when you drive in.

Decent place to spend a night. Lots of trucks going in & out that it becomes white noise. Bathrooms and convenience store are open all night too

Scenic viewpoint on side of road. Quiet after dark other than the occasional car blasting music. A few other vans/ cars here

Nice location to camp. Stairs to the top of the lighthouse are a bit unsafe but possible to manage.

place open. still have water hose for rinsing. Used location for dumping a portable toilet, not RV. Whole in the ground made it very easy . Went around 1pm, no issues. No one around.
