Great stop to make! The owner (Dave) and his wife are very welcoming. They have a restaurant and make wood fire pizza and they also make burgers. Beer is available for purchase and soon they will have mezcal as well. It was the best burger we had on our entire trip! Highly recommend. Ocean front parking. Use of bathroom and shower on property. Good Wi-Fi as well! Dave’s whats app #: +52 741 122 5992

A few other vans and rv’s parked here. There’s a Sheetz right next door that’s open all night so good if you need anything. There is no designated parking but they do allow overnight.

Durmimos aquí 2 noches, tranquilo y seguro pues es un barrio adinerado. Aparcamos en una de las calles que da al parque porque es más plano y sin árboles que toquen el techo. Hay fuente con agua y lavandería a 10 minutos a pie

This is a very dumpy RV park that has not kept up with general maintenance. If all you care about is the ocean view, then this is the place for you.

The park parking lot gets gated closed at dark, but there is parking outside the gate that you can park at. The spots are relatively flat. It’s very quiet. Decent cell reception. There are a couple porta-potties down in the gated part of the park. You are near some houses, so be quiet, respectful, and pick up any trash (which should go for everywhere). Would recommend this spot.

The park itself is huge, clean and well maintained. Many facilities and well used by the townspeople. Very dog friendly, lots of places to walk. The RV section has a few picnic tables and grills. Lots of trash barrels scattered around. When I needed to make a change to my reservation, I called City Hall and they were very kind and helpful. More traffic than we expected, seems like it’s a shortcut of sorts or something. The angle of the approach makes it awkward to back in and if it was full it would be almost impossible. Do not take your RV all through the park to get a better approach angle, there are many low hanging trees. In order to use the dump station you have to back in to it. ONLY 50 amp plugs, so 30 amp rigs will need an adaptor. Some sites are not level front to back or side to side, since the asphalt pads are all designed to be shared with another camper it was difficult to level and stay on your own side. Site #2 has a pole in the way of backing up all the way, so it is not as long as the website states. Site #9 has an overhanging tree, so may not work for taller rigs. I applaud the town of Shiner for creating this RV area and overall, I would stay again if I was in the area.

No fixer- you don’t need one!

We are the first car and get a xray. After to confirm the xray paper we are able to go.
(Check for drones and everything to make their last money or something like that^^)

No mans land maybe 100m are very very bad road. Watch out for holes. Take your time! We reduce little bit Air from the tires, so you don’t get cuts and damages (4x4 7to truck)

Mauretanien:

(Don’t let you scam with the old money only change new money)

(Say friendly and good mooded hello, they are friendly and open minded)

Park somewhere <->

<-First left house (2doors) to check in and say friendly hello, they are friendly!

->Go to the right house first door right side. He wants to know your destination. He needs a long time for tipping, but super friendly. Here the first Fixer (they are best friends with the officers)

after this you go ^ 10m to the next check, they control your car with a dog.

If you are controlled, you are rdy to go. ^

Park on the left <- side. Directly behind the barrier. Let check your pass again maybe the car again and make the customs (right side -> on the hill) 10mtr to go.

->Go into the building-complex in the first right building. (Inside)First door left. Make for 10€ (pay in dirham 100dh) your passavant. Its a stamp in you pass with car datas.

After this go down to the Street and say only „i don’t need a fixer“ to the charging guys.

Next stop is by the policestation.

We didn't actually stay here, but this spot does exist, and seems to still be open for camping. No signage saying otherwise. Access to the creek is easy, so we used it to get water in the morning.

Tight trail coming in off the main gravel road. Not sure if a full size truck would be able to squeeze thru. RZR trails all around this spot. Small open field overlooking valley. One fire pit with dry dead wood all around. Absolutely beautiful, remote spot. You hear the occasional car drive down the main gravel road. Nobody close enough to bother you. Within the boundaries of the National Forest.

Pitch directly at the river Euphra! Very quiet area, although the village is within walking distance. We met Mogammed (called Jo) here. He showed us his village (Babylon). He knows every corner of his village and has a lot of background knowledge. Jo speaks very good English and is not just a local guide. He is also helpful with all other things and extremely friendly. He is happy to answer telephone enquiries or make contact. Telephone: 07813860159 (you may need to dial the country code for Iraq).

Enjoyed our stay here. very friendly and welcoming people. Hot outdoor showers and decent ablutions. nice scullery. Lots of thoughtful touches such as extra hand towels in the bathroom, and washing up things in the scullery. Only a few camping spots but we were the only campers and they were nice
