Something not right?

Description

Just traveled Canada coast to coast and this is my favorite. No light pollution, quite, clean, and huge shady sites. Beautiful! $20 per night. Stayed September 2017.

Great campground. Paid when host came around $20 per night and $10 for firewood

Report Check-In

Nice wooded campsites, with a steep path down to the beach. There is 1 first come, first served campsite (#43), the rest need to be reserved online on the BC parks website. There is a problem with mice here, so beware. We caught 4 in mousetraps, inside our motorhome in 1 night. our neighbors who had a tent, and kept all of their food in their vehicle, woke up to their car full of mice and all the food not in containers was had. Quite the mouse party. But it is a beautiful place, well kept & the beach is very scenic. Just be prepared for the mice.

20$ per Night. Card it Cash at the Ranger. There was only 1 First Come, First Serve.. beautiful Place

Report Check-In

$20 for the night collected by the camp hosr. Several first-come campsites available. Short steep walk to the beach where there are free (cold) outdoor showers. Pit toilets, potable water, garbage bins.

Report Check-In

Less popular than goldstream BC, probably due to lack of RV services, but still very nice! Also not too far from hiking trails in Goldstream National Park. Beautiful forest campground (like all the BC ones) 20CAD and super friendly park rangers.

Report Check-In

It's possible to pay with a credit card by the ranger.
Nice spot to stay.

Report Check-In

Nice little spot. Wooded camp spots with fire pits and table.
Pit toilets, garage bins and water.
Windy raining day here but the tress keep you shelted.
Nice vibe here. Not as busy as Goldstream.

Report Check-In

As others have described, this place is a nice provincial park which is heavily wooded. Access to the beach is either by road or a steep dirt path. It’s short but will get you lungs going and heart beating…

Great location between Nanaimo and Victoria! Can’t check in until 1 pm - there are reservable and non- reservable sites. It had a sign “no holding spots w/ cooler or chairs - must be a tent”. We arrived at 3:30 and there were at least 6 spots still open. We are traveling in a van so we threw up our tent to hold the spot and went in to Victoria. One hour drive North from here to catch Nanimo ferry. No host came around by 7 am when we left, so we stayed for free.
Bonus- beautiful old growth forest!

Large sites. No services. Pit toilets and water available.

Beau petit camping avec toilette sèche seulement. Fonctionne selon premier arrivé, premier servis, mais peut aussi être réservé 2 jours d’avance sur leur site en ligne. 20$/nuit

Report Check-In

Nice forested spots, can hear ferry horns loudly nearby but otherwise quiet. Winter season 11$ a night. No drinking water here in off season but has garbages and pit toilet.

Report Check-In

Winter camping. 11 spots available, $11 a night, very quiet, babbling brook nearby. Enough room in most spots for a class c. If you come in at night, turn left before the bathrooms to get to the sites, permits are right next to the envelope drop off on the right, red container.

Nice clean campground, lots of trees and privacy. $20 per night. Nice and quiet off the highway, would recommend!

Report Check-In

A very quiet and well maintained site en route to Victoria. $20 but we were only charged at 09.30 so if you leave early you might get away with it. When we were here there were 48 sites with only about 10 occupied. Camp host said that soon the bottom 2 loops would be closed and only 11 sites would be available for the winter.

Report Check-In

Very clean and quiet site
11 sites open for 11$ /night /envelopes
5 kil from highway
Bathroom but no water.

10 sites first come first serve...wifi connection is present 🙂

pretty average campground. 20$ for a quick stay. it was pretty empty when we checked in so no issue finding a decent site.
sites were nicely spaced out with plenty of room for activities.
no showers and a pit toilet every few sites. really quiet at night
expect many birds bright and early waking you up

Report Check-In

Clean plenty of space for class b van beautiful evening even though raining hoping for sunny day tomorrow to check out ocean side and beach access!

Report Check-In

Not sure if it is one of the nicest campgrounds in Canada but definitely a decent one. As described: lots of trees, clean pit toilets, close to the ocean. 20$ a night. Another 6$ reservation fee if you reserve online (which you should). The not-reserved sites are first come, first serve. A couple of sites were free when we were here. Downsites: the beach is very rocky and the ocean a bit smelly. Resumee: OK for one or two nights.
