Used the gym and shower for $5. Water is hot and water pressure was good, plenty of showers available. It’s a pool shower so don’t have high expectations, but it’s not bad for 5 bucks.

They now charge 200pesos per person. It’s a beautiful place, but you just park on the hotel parking and for this it was too expensive for us.

We actually drove beyond this spot where you needed 4wd, but it would have quiet squeezing in around the 4-5 folks out here. Nice views. 2 bars of Verizon.

Parking lot just after salmon farm cafe, designated zone, max two nights. All rigs welcome - rv, car, tent. Big rigs could fit, depends on how many people are already there. Dogs on leash, no potable water (could get at cafe if open). Restrooms with running water. No dish washing. Camping spot! not anything fancy or scenic.

We asked at the farm and it was ok to stay at the river. Not level and just on the side of the road. Still good for a night.

Descent spot for van camping. We don’t need hookups, but do need a bathroom. This fit the bill. $25/night, clean bathroom with shower. Better than paying $50 at the RV campgrounds. Would recommend if you can’t get into the NP.

This is not the right place for the rest area Jefferson on the east side of the I-40. You have to drive at least 3 more miles east.

Voici le bon endroit pour l’aire de repos du côté Est de l’autoroute I-40. Toilettes propres. Plusieurs camions, alors on les entend bien. Tables et distributeurs de boissons. L’affiche mentionne un stationnement de 2 heures mais on tolère… Places au niveau après les distributeurs, enfin presque…

Cheap eatery round the corner from Las Palmas hotel. Very popular with the locals and I had a good meal.

Now they charge $10 USD 🥵per vehicle for parking. The place where you park has no facilities, the bathrooms are higher up. The place was nice, quiet but we found it very expensive. around the lake is the most recommended place to stop.

As per the description written back in 2022, bit rough and ready but at 400 pesos for a room with a good AC and get the motorbike securely parked well worth a night if you are in the area. ATMs and plenty of restaurants close by but don't use BBVA bank, you get nailed on costs to withdraw.

Moved to a different site, #19, still in Pegasus N campground. Come late afternoon in in total shade. Which is good except having to move the solar around. This is a back in spot. No problem getting in. The fire ring is in the center of a rock grouping. There's a set of rock steps out the back to a path. You can watch the sun set from this spot.

Good and Basic : Chicken and rice as a basis and you can have vegetables and side dishes if you want

To correct the other posts : it is opened in April at the winter park visitor center and you can book your tickets for all the Al ula activities (including Hegra = madein saleh tour).

An official rest stop with standard amenities, plus a nice lawn to run the dogs and a duck pond for migrating birds perhaps.

We wanted to stay at this place but at the Military checkpoint, he wouldn't let us sleep in the Samarra secured zone. We had to come back in a few hours to collect our passports.

To be far away from the highway and rest in a quiet place and see in the morning lovely ships. No 4WD needed, the road is muddy but if it’s not rainy it’s easy to drive on.

Quite place between the farmlands. It can fit at least 2 cars and it is far enough from the road to don’t hear any cars. We only saw a few farmers in the morning but they didn’t bother us. Allot of frogs during the day and night! A peaceful place!

Ich habe unsere Wäsche am Morgen gegen 9.30 Uhr abgegeben. 18.30 Uhr war sie abholbereit. 3.500 ARS pro Wäscheladung ist ein guter Preis. Ich habe insgesamt 8.800 ARS bezahlt für 2 1/2 Wäscheladungen. Ein absolut fairer Preis. Nette Mitarbeiterin. Empfehlenswert.

the petrol station don't have card but he manage for us 50 liter free from a truck driver ! the guy at petrol station is really good and smilling, he help us directly without asking any money

nice, at 600 toman, but they want to refill us only 30 liter ..

really nice guy as the comment bellow ! he help us to fill 75 liter from 3 truck : 35 , 20, 20 ! he speak a bit english ! leave him some tips he deserve it, most of the time the gasoil was free

As described as previous entry. Just some additions. Take the first right after the parking. Walk to the end of the building, past the small mosque and take the last sliding doors of the building on the right. Once inside go through the doorway behind the reception desk and head into the office with the officials (I believe second door to the left). All done in 5 minutes.

gate was open, and there were a handful of others staying at various points along the road. main road was dry, found a "site" long enough to accommodate us.
highway noise was barely noticeable.
beautiful spot for the night, just a short distance from the highway!
