Nice spot just in front of the water.
You can surf at the village on the left (5-10 minutes by walking) or at the right also 5-10 minutes by walking.
The road is doable for every kind of vehicle. It’s like 16km of dirt road. Don’t trust google maps for the gas station, there is none here.

Pasamos una noche aquí. Lugar muy bonito y tranquilo. Noche silenciosa y segura. Al lado hay restaurantes buenos con wiffi.

Overnights no longer enforced. Spent two stealth nights. Spoke to other car campers. Cleared out tents and non working vehicles and enforced for just a couple of weeks. Please leave no trace.

Passamos uma noite tranquila em nossa barraca de teto no pátio do posto, barulhos de caminhões só até certo momento. Tem restaurante, banheiro limpo, se quiser tomar banho tem o custo de 5,00 reais. Vimos que tem opções de cabanas pra pernoitar mas não perguntamos os preços.

It wasn’t possible to access the beach, but the grassy parking lot works just fine for a night. No one was at the cabaña or anywhere else around so it was very quiet. Wifi is password protected so you’ll only have access if someone is around.

on est arrivé vers 8h50 le premier jour, on a vu plus d'une dizaine de condors. on a dormi là sans problème, les WC étaient fermés après la vague de cars.m, mais le lendemain à partir de 8h30 tous les cars reviennent et les WC ouvrent.
la nuit est calme.

Very nice spot in this hidden gem that is Mutatá. A place surrounded by deep blue rivers in the middle of the humid rainforest of Urabá. We camped by the house of Santiago that is about to start his hostel. He is also a tour guide that can take you to the different places around the village. Totally worths it because is an unexplored area that has much to offer!

This location has changed to overnighting with Good Sam membership and approval, only. Thankfully, they hadn't closed yet and we do have a membership with Good Sam.
A peaceful night with hookups. We didn't need electricity, but the potable water was nice.

Calm and peaceful beach. Great spot to spend the night. Safe. Great places to camp with Campervan. On the day we camped, there were people camping in Kombi and others with tents. Police always present. Place to take a bath, nearby. We pay 1k colones per person. I recommend without a doubt. Costa Rica is “Pura Vida” without a doubt.

Gorgeous free site. We enjoyed it. No water, no dumpster, pit toilets. Surprisingly clean.

Pretty good level beach front with minimal shade of palms - the shoreline is flat >> ok for a dip in at low tide

Beautiful forest campground. Almost empty this time of the year. Entrance to most sites pretty narrow, but we found a double site. Most sites also require levelling blocks. Someone came by around 8 in the evening to collect 22$. Lots of mozzies

We stayed 1 night, good place, nobody bothered us.

We drove the road on two fully packey Honda CRF300 Rally. It was no problem with the small bikes, would not ride it with big Bike 1000cc+. Sometimes the ground is verry loose and especially at this part of the road its verry steep.There are allways several options to choose from steep to verry steep. We drove the road from Mendoza to Uspallata.

Not a beautiful spot, but it's partly hidden from the main dirt road up to the hill. It's a death end of path which leads to an empty water tank. Just reverse to the end. It's hard to level car there, but there is a pile of stones. It's big just for normal car or minivan.
Water is next to the tank.

Absolutely beautiful camping spot!! Nestled within a semi-circle of a rock formation with a wonderful view of the LA Sal mountains. Very quiet and out of the wind. Several established fire rings and a great big open space for a few rigs to post up. We stayed for two nights & it was a dream🤗

Fantastic provincial park.
We spent two nites camped along the lake as the ice on lake was receding.
Fantastic scenery, lake is cold

Fine for one night but either local or van lifer trashed the place with lot of garbage.

Quaint little country town, got there 4:30pm stayed till 8:30am.. no issues.. not too noisy but is close to main road.. portaloos available in ok condition.. flat surfaces

Super rough road in using Usal Rd, more suited for 4x4 trucks which is what we saw mainly down there. We made it with an e250, but have some new scratches and pushed it pretty hard getting out there. Not recommended unless you’re okay with beating up your rig some. There’s a mud pit halfway through that is intimidating looking but doable. Then once at the bottom it’s very muddy in the campsites and the beach sand is very loose and not driveable without 4wd. But that being said, it’s a special place once you get down there and so green and covered with wildflowers now. We found a nice spot in the trees next to the stream, sounds of ocean waves crashing and lots of birds. Saw 3 different park rangers drive through there while we were there which was surprising. Send it!

Nice little lake with a few spots. There were a couple others staying overnight in rvs/vans. Some people came to fish but other than that pretty quiet and really a nice spot. I had decent att service

Official campground called Madison. Reservations and walk ins. Offers free dumping and water, as well as trash disposal (incl. recycling). I haven't asked if it's open to non customers, but technically you can just drive inside, turn left after the small house selling ice and dump/refill potable water.
