Whoops, got the 22' RV stuck in the sand but there are plenty of places you won't get stuck. Lovely clear sky full of stars, clean beach, cool breeze at night. Locals played music from their cars until around 2am on Friday night but I didn't mind. When it's quiet, it's dead quiet. No shade for vehicles but there are walk-up palapas. No one bothered me and my dogs except one young dog that wouldn't take the hint that my old dog didn't want to play. Very nice, free spot.

We stayed one night here. It’s really good and safe place. Nice neighborhood, we talked with them and they told us that it’s a safe place. Very quiet because there is no traffic. It’s a big place where you can park with your big rig.

This place is permanently closed.

What a lovely place to stay. We stayed in the cottage and thought it was a reasonable price. Got a delicious 3 course breakfast included. Dinner was also 3 course for $9000c. We could not eat it all as so big and but supper taste. Hiking trails and a boats in a lake for use. Checked out camping area. Have a covered area for cooking under or could even put small tent under. Got down to 13C at night so not to bad.

Slept for one night, nice and quite, minimal light, bathrooms available, nice place for my dog to run around in the am. No “no parking” signs. Pretty ideal! Would sleep here again!

Good spot but note that there are several RVers living here. No issues and fairly quiet.

Well manicured grass camping under shaded trees. Large sites. Electricity&Braai at each Site.
Shared ablutions - need bit of TLC but water is hot.

Roelof, owner, went out his way to assist us with help after some tyre and 3rd party problems. Good road advise as well.

Stayed here overnight. Very quiet, well stocked Walmart, huge parking lot. Recommend

Temporarily closed due to VEPCO high power line installation project. I tried to access the site off of long run road, and they stated all entry into this part of the forest is closed for the rest of 2023. it will reopen after though. please make a note on these as I was really excited to camp here.

We stayed here for 2 nights twice. The campsite is basic but has clean ablutions with soap and toilet paper. The hotel itself is pleasant and you can make use of the bar, restaurant (the burgers are fantastic!) and pool. The campsite has an electric fence, razor wire and security foot patrols so it's unlikely a robbery would happen again (see previous reviews). A good, cheap option in Maun - P133 ppn There's a bottle shop nearby behind Shell.

Overnight Camping on the dam no longer allowed.

We parked just in front of the sign, police passed by and didn’t bother us. So we think it is ok to park a side the road.

Others stayed overnight directly at the beach for the whole weekend and this was allowed too.

The owner was awesome we were allowed to stay in the empty lot beside the gas station. Bathroom was clean and coffee was free!!

Road is good now, disregard the warning. All type of vehicle can pass.

As described. We stayed overnight in our 25 ft motorhome. No issues. Lots of trucks coming and going. Their area is separated from the passenger vehicles. Not a large area. Not suitable for class A’s or 5th wheels. Right at the water. Nice clean area.

Lots of level spots. Very scenic and right off of the main road

Beautiful spot and easy to get to. Stayed one night. Other campers around. Some traffic noise as mentioned, including engine brakes, but didn’t wake up in the night because of it. I would stay here again.

Pulled in at midnight, there were quite a few other rvs and vans. It was quiet and no one bothered us.

Can confirm the showers are hot! They have a looot of pressure, so don’t be surprised. The stalls are large so you have plenty of space to hang your stuff or put in on the bench

Still going strong. English breakfast 2000 malawi kwatcha. Mains from 2000. Clean friendly.

This was the best shower!!! One dollar, hot water, very clean. Again $1.00. Best deal anywhere.

Great dog park! Clean and a little waterfall to play in.
