all previous comments are accurate, this is indeed a beautiful place to stay!!! I just want to add that the restaurant is open Saturday-Sunday, but the food was really not great... for 6000kz we had a very oily fish with cold plantains and cold potatoes... nothing tasty! however the staff is really friendly so you can spend your money in drinks, but I would definitely avoid eating here

Epic Plov (perhaps best found between Osh & Bishkek). Reasonably priced, comfortable with outdoor seating in shaded courtyard.

Huge place, we were the only guests. Quiet night. Showers somewhat basic but clean and hot. Sink for doing the dishes. Cheap -700 pesos per car.

Multi-room guesthouse. Comfortable and welcoming hosts. Paid 500 Soms for bed including evening meal of Plov.

With Namibian plate it is 10US or (today) 179ZWK one way. You still need to pay the 20ZWK at each toll gate. They also want to know where you exit the country and which places you intend to visit, but they can also write "throughout the country".

Stayed a couple of nights here while visiting Torrey Pines SNR. Arrived late and left early. I could easily find a spot both nights. No restrictions other than you are not supposed to park an oversized vehicle on city streets between 2AM-6AM.

Infelizmente, tive uma experiência terrível aqui devido ao péssimo lugar, muito barulho ensurdecedor, uma balada adolescente nas proximidades, gritos perturbadores e música alta. Unfortunately, I had a horrible experience here due to the terrible place, deafening noise, a nearby teen party, disturbing screams, and loud music. Based on this, I would definitely not recommend this place. I hope my review helps to alert other users of the iOverlander app.

Excellent Indian cuisine in a peaceful setting. Best meal so far in Tanazania.

A friendly little guesthouse run by Diana adjacent to her house. It is a simple double bedroom + bathroom with a nice terrace out front with hammocks and a table. She was happy for us to use her kitchen.

She is preparing to open fully later this year (2023) and is doing some finishing touches right now.

$20 per night for 2 people - great value. She also did a load of washing for us and let us use her WiFi. Very smiley & friendly lady. We were referred to her by the fonda/restaurant 500m along the road.

She keeps 2 parrots who are also very chatty and entertaining!

They have propane but had difficulty filling us up as some issue with nozzle. Managed to get 4L in but was too difficult. Didn’t charge us.

ordinary room 160, suite(with bathroom) 260. sweet family that runs this place. they gave me a suite for 200.

Aziz runs an informal camping for caravans, advertised on Camp4night. He let me put a tent in it's garden on a very windy day. 50 dirhams for camp + hot shower + breakfast. He also offers meals.

Spent last night. Relatively quiet until about midnight, then silence. Very peaceful. Saw campus security drive by without “a knock.” Nice walking around campus.

Small and comfortable place next to the ocean. 10+ fishing boats call this place home.

The locals will come but are friendly.

Parking area isn't too large so although big rigs can fit you might need to check.

Parking lot at the Trillium Lake trailhead. Sno Park permits only needed until April 30. We had our NW Forest Pass just in case. Large lot, we fit comfortably with 2 SUVs. Several other folks were there overnight because the road into Trillium Lake was closed. Some highway noise, and someone ran a generator into the night. Stayed one night.

Weeew, in Cambodia, high class euro standard Makro Supermarket. This is a very clean, cold, big place but bit expensive.

Didn’t stay here but saw the sign saying overnight camping was allowed. One night and you have to “sign in”. Very convenient to local restaurants, brewery and mineral hot springs and way less than the campground.

Quiet and safe place to spend a night, the road to arrive at the small town is small and strange. we slept well

Gas station and 24-hour convenience. Place a little busy at night but safely clean bathroom and free water

when you enter the site, to the left is a level ground and signed day use only. Some young people had camped out here for the night. We drove up right, and took the first stop in the clearing. Yes it is near the road, but only car passed while we where here. There are lots of firepits down the lake, but those sites are to small for 24ft RV. So this spot is quite level, and fine for a night.
Rich wild life, lots of deer in the woods, turtles in the lake, owls at night, frogs ect. Otherwise really quiet at night.

Parked here after clamming, close to the beach and Astoria. Very quiet, beautiful.

Looks like some jerk left a trash bomb. Down the hill is an enormous amount of garbage.

Otherwise nice spot.

around here are two creeks with a decent amount of water flowing during may. this is the last time you'll encounter decent water until El Oro down in the valley.

Camped here after clamming. Had a little fire. Very very quiet. Beautiful spot. 2 bars Verizon internet.

Some dirtbag threw a huge load of garbage down the creek nearby. Otherwise it’s a nice spot.

Access is really reserved for 4x4 cars but on arrival the place is incredible. Perfect for sunrise, not too much wind and alone : just perfect !
