We tried parking right on the beach but got stuck in sand. It looks solid but its not. Fortunately, a group of Good Samaritans helped pull us out with their truck! We circled around and decided to park at the end of this dirt street under a few palm trees that were growing on an undeveloped lot, a few meters from where we got stuck. Police drove by several times on the beach but did not ask us to move our rig. Nice ocean breeze at night and no mosquitos. Close to bars, restaurants and lots of yoga studios.

Washroom in Walmart was clean. Spent a peaceful, quiet night in my RAV4. It rained on and off throughout the night, but the sound of the rain kept me from listening for the boogie man. Left at 3am and there were approx 12 other overnighters. This was my first car-camping experience and I loved it!

Really nice view, multiple spots to camp in and find lots of firewood.
Quite windy in the evening but the night it’s almost no wind.

It was 17 degrees at night in April so quite cold after almost 30 everywhere else - bring some warm clothes! :)

On street. Road crowns quite a bit but not too bad as my bed is side to side. No troubles. Some bar noise till about 11:00. Just a very short walk to the beach. Very cute shops and nice restaurants. No one bothered me.

We didn't stay but they offer camping here with toilets and cold showers. You can use a chalet for hot showers if needed. They have a huge property and I'm sure you can camp anywhere you want. They asked for 7,50 USD ppn, probably negotiable. No internet connection with Econet.

We didn't stay as we were told we would not be alowed to go to the deck area - where you actually have a nice lake view - because there were guests in the lodge. The views from the campsite are mostly towards banana fields and the boat park so it wasn't really appealing to spend the day. If you want a modern campsite South African/European style this is a good choice. There are 3 camping spots in lawn terraces right next to each other, 2 toilets, one shower and a place for dishwashing. Firewood is 2 USD per bundle. Filtered water is provided for free. There's no shade a part from the small shelter covering the picnic tables in each spot. No internet connection with Econet. 10 USD ppn.

Decent, clean room's. Older place and showing it's age but ok. Bike parking right in front of reception window. Best we could find, unlike Dolphin where parking was a deserted dirt lot with no security 200m away from the premises. 35K Dinar per night no breakfast. Close to bazaar and food.

We parked in the western lot below the gate. That gate locks the upper lot, but if you park in the lot below, you’ll be fine. Bathrooms are clean & open in the morning. pretty uneventful, which is a good thing—no noisy traffic, no people wandering through the lot. However, we did receive a “parking violation” stating not to be parked there longer than 24 hours, or else we’d be towed, not an actual ticket. Good spot for one night.

Sweet place. We almost always just look for free spots and camp outside of cities while tripping in for the daytime. We made an exception for 2 days in La Paz and we are so glad we did. Check-in starts at 1pm and check-out at 12. Very relaxed and seems to be on a first-come first-served basis, as is the way in Baja. You are parked side by side with other vans and trucks but that's totally cool and it's part of the vibe. Campground meets hostel. They have rooms for rent too which look really nice, and the showers are decent.
From the outside it's not obvious at all, we just rocked up and poked our heads through the door. It's very secure for a place right in downtown La Paz. Great tacos nearby and you can walk right downtown where you can swim at the beach, shop, eat, get drinks, etc. We also got a chance to meet other travelers, which we have not done much so far in Baja. Overall great experience, glad we stayed here for two nights and well worth the 300 pesos per night.

Small quirky taco shack under new ownership. We have had lots of great fish tacos in Baja but these were worth mentioning, you get an entire fillet of fish per taco and it is breaded, not just battered like most. The tacos are like 5% taco and 95% fish, which is amazing. They also serve really good horchata (sweet Mexican rice milk) which goes down great on a hot day. Owner speaks great English and was very friendly. Worth checking out.

This campground had two sites left at 5:00 pm on Easter Sunday. We rushed back to this one after we found out the next (in the direction of Coalinga, across the flooded part) was completely full and 10 minutes later this one was full as well.

Enough space to not hear the other campers, parking level enough, metal mesh covered picknick table. Surprisingly cold night. Stayed only one night - we're on a schedule, unfortunately. Paid nothing.

One night parking allowed for travelers. I asked at Customer Service. (Entrance sign says tow-a-way zone). There were a few others parked nearby. Seems pretty quiet.

Beautiful place. A local family manage it. We parked the car under palms. At night a nice breeze make it fresh. Mornings are beautiful with no people and low tide. Really safe. Maybe you could feel that a common car won't go by the 10 meters of sand you have to cross...but we did it easily. Is prepared for every car. They sell food and have tables and seats. We reaĺly enjoyed being in this peaceful place. Not overcrowded as we saw in el cunco.
Anyway we went to el cunco for some tacos in a place called nueva sason as other ioverlander suggested. Amazing tacos (2,5 usd three tacos).

We paid 5 usd pp. Wifi is good to work. And showers have an excellent pressure.

Drove through at 6ish, south bound. I was the only white tourist in the lineup, and the guy super obviously picked my truck out of lineup of like ~8 cars, and asked only me to pay the fee. It was only a dollar, so I didn't want to waste time arguing.

There were some people with red spray bottles before the inspection station, I think they were trying to look official before they would bait n switch into trying to sell you some sort of service. I just drove past them.

At the parking lot of the Brennan Park Recreation Centre, it is a dedicated water hose for bike washing.
I have put some water in a glass and it was crystal-clear, tasted like normal potable water. Also the pressure was high so for sure it comes straight out of the normal water supply line used by the recreation center and the houses around the place.
