Absolutely loved this location! Surrounded by trees & has own fire pit. Large enough for 2-3 rigs to fit here. People use the first campsite as a staging area for UTV so you will hear them driving them around during the day/evening. Had good AT&T service here. In the mountains so just check snow conditions before coming here.

This is a good size campsite however a ton of trucks use it as a staging area for UTVs. Just be cautious so you don’t get parked in.

All gated off. Called the fair office & they stated it has been closed for the past year & they have no intentions of opening it back up. We closed the location to avoid future phone calls to them.

We went to the parfumeria first, but they were closed. this place sells alcohol industrial/ ethylic alcohol with 96°, too. ~80.000 for 12 liters, so a really good price.

Be aware, gate only opens Thursday to Sunday. We arrived on a Tuesday hoping to be able to camp or explore ourselves, but this is not possible (at least not if you want to enter through the main road).

Yeah like everyone said not the nicest campsite, lots of permanent rvs here that are pretty trash. The tent sites are not worth it, narrow and steep road, slanted, and not enough space to park. We paid for a tent sight and parked at a hookup right before that had more space no one said anything. Besides looking very sketchy it was a very quiet night. If I didn’t have my dog or partner I wouldn’t stay here as a solo traveler (not the best vibes) but it worked as the other 2 sites in the area were closed and we were in a pinch. Works for a ugh if you need, but I wouldn’t recommend more.

Don't come here if there's a high wind warning lol. 60mph winds and a sandstorm, we got our little bus stuck in about 8 inches of sand. Beautiful spot though!!

What an amazing park!
Wonderful walks to Cerro Leoncito and Cascade. Unfortunately, showers and kiosko closed. Observatory open. Stayed 5 days, almost alone. Very quiet and relaxing.

Lots of places to stay. Not enough signal on Verizon to get any work done even with a booster. Lots of trash in some areas, there's even some mattresses dumped on the south side of the road. A bit sandy in some areas too so be careful if you don't have 4x4.

Great place....if it wasn't for the train whistle 40 ft away every 20-30 min. died down after 1am for about 2 hours then they were back at it. trains coming from both directions all day & night. You have to cross the tracks to get into the camp so they have to blow their whistle before getting to the crossing which kinda sucks but I get it. Other than that, clean pit toilet, picnic tables, couldn't find any fire rings which I was surprised about. luckily I carry my own.

Still a free dump station and easy to use. As far as I can see there is no potable water here. All spigots have a red top.

Very cute little restaurant on the beach. My son had the pancakes that were good! The food was fresh but was all freshly made so took some time! Love supporting this little family run businesses! If your driving on this road and need time out of the car and want a homemade meal it’s worth a stop!
