Stayed here for change some fluids and it had to change a preheater glow stick for diesel. They are really really slow so we had to stay over night. You can sleep in the safe area but it annoying that they are working so slow.

Payed 200$ for oil change (quality oil from Castrol), diesel filter, check breaks, check transmission and differential oil and changed the preheater.

Here are a lot of Mercedes and unimogs so I think they know what to do. Only one guy speak English.

Bon endroit pour découvrir San Cristobal. Très safe. 15mn à pied du centre historique. Édouardo et Rodolfo sont très accueillants et très sympathiques. L’endroit est facile d’accès. Possibilité de prendre de l’eau. 50 pesos par jour.

No showers, no toilet,no fee. Stayed for two nights, had this beautiful place almost for ourselves, just a few locals came by. As described, narrow, bumpy dirt road, not suitable for larger rigs.

Good food for good prices. Good place for a break.

Spent one night here. It’s a very busy Walmart, but feels quite safe here. There are plenty of spots for a big rig or two. We were joined by a few semis as well.

The dirt road is accessible and suddenly is paved again after about 2 miles.

Small, packed with 18 of us in variuos vehicles yet still, its just right. Walk everywhere, plaza to the west, malecon to the east, shops, mission, brewery, cafe all close. 200 pesos without hook ups, 250 with.

More expensive than other places, but clean, with warm shower and open kitchen for everybody. There is a very small garden with private „beach“ where you can build your tent.

En temporada se escucha la música de los paradores en la orilla del frente. Muy concurrido en verano por la sombra y buen lugar para refrescarse

Great little place. Rooms are clean and thongs work. Reasonably priced at Ksh1000.

Great park! staff is very friendly right on the water, ten minutes to Navarre Beach.

We didn't like the first bush camp nearby (near the railway track). Too many people used the track as "traffic way" (apart from the garbage).
We drove up the hill approx 1 km and followed than a small dirt track for approx. 300 m to the end. The path ends just there in the gras. Nobody comes there and you are not visible to this side, but you have a nice view down to the dam and Gobabis.

Stealth car or van camping only. Residential street. Permits overnight parking and 60 minutes parking from 9am-7pm. Beautiful sunset and quiet street. Occasional car and bus traffic.

As described, large campground, power at sites, good hot showers friendly owners. Andrea- the wife -speaks English quite well . Super spot to stay- we paid 20,000 per night for two in Nov/21

Nice and clean Walmart, and very busy.
If you’re in a camper that can fit into a regular parking spot, I suggest parking by the garden center and shipping containers on the side of the building.. it’s more quiet and private.
I woke up around 0100 and saw some characters roaming around the main large parking lot playing with plastic bags. They also scattered a bunch of shopping carts in the middle of the driving aisles.
The cleaning truck was also driving around at 0100 on a Wed morning and spraying cleaning solution but with earplugs in, it wasn’t that loud.
