electronicremedies | Stayed one night. I will be back. this place was nice and quit. Sites are spread out. We stayed at site 10 it was pretty level and a short walk to the river. The road is pretty bumpy getting in and getting into the site. But we made it in the 24ft Navion. |

Leave No Trace | 32/17mbps on Visible. Almost nothing at the yellow post sites on the mountain top but the views were pretty amazing. Yellow post campgrounds with views of Apple Valley below. Not sure if you need a National Forest permit or not but I put my America the Beautiful in the window anyways. There's nobody up here and the temps are in the mid 60s and overcast. Really rough road getting up here and even more sketchy in the campground from water damage. High clearance needed. An old picnic table and metal fire rings. Leave no trace! |

Toby | Santa Margarita park River Road Trailhead. $3 fee. Very flat and big. Note that approaching from the West it’s a very tight turn of nearly 180 degrees to get in. Best approached from the East. Large flat area with toilet but no water. Very peaceful. We stayed last night and plan to do so again tonight. No call service on T-mobile. |

An Unknown Adventure | There are 2 separate places called Tecopa Hot Springs side by side. The one on the North side has been reviewed but I stayed at the one on the South side. It's $25 to park and stay with unlimited soaks. What I like about this location as opposed to the other one are the private hot tub rooms. Each tub (there are 2) accommodate 1-3 people in your party. They drain and clean the tubs each hour, another plus. There are showers and you're required to shower before entering the tubs. I was the only van parked atop the hill with a gorgeous sunset. RVs are parked below. There's a large outdoor labarynth to walk plus pottery and art in the check in area. While there is no wifi here, you can go across the street and stand outside (or in car with the window down) for free, unlocked WiFi. The tubs are clean and hot. My back went out 2 days ago and this was absolutely perfect to aid in healing. |

Joerg and Simone | Big parking lot directly near the train station to Rom. Quiet at night because no trains and it’s the final destination from the train. A ticket costs 2,10€ per person into Rom and it takes around 30min. I can recommend this place for visit Rom on couple days. Gendarmerie is near and they driving by and check. Also you have cameras on the Spot. |

onward4x4.com | There are signs that says no overnight parking. However, there are RVs and Vans parked long term. Folks says, so long as you aren’t being a nuisance and/or not parking a 50footer rig, it’s all good. Great for a night or two. Fairly quiet, toilets and next to the water. |
