Very busy truck stop, but dump and water still available. Dump located north east of the McDonalds.

Free dump at this free campground, no signs saying you have to camp here to use the dump. Note that there is no water anywhere in the campground, not even non potable for flush.

Nice views over the riverbed towards the mountain. Camp nothing special right basic. Ask for N$ 150 pppn. Warm water not on all sites because elephants destroyed donkey.

Price is now 30K per person! 200K for a basic cabin! Just an ordinary pool with hot water. It’s a pretty long muddy road that is passable as long as you have a vehicle that can handle a bit of slipping and sliding without getting stuck. Still won’t let you spend the night. The weather here is very hot, humid, and rainy. Not really a nice place to sit in hot water during the day. Maybe if they let you soak at night. If you’re headed toward Manizales or Peirera, save your money for those hot springs..

Beautiful sea side spot by the lighthouse. Was busy for the sunset (which was fantastic) but was very quiet overnight and the next morning.

Great spot, plenty of space for rigs of all size at the start. Road has deep ruts and is passable with some skill and slow driving.

Travel down the gravel path for about 1-1.5 miles and you will have an awesome quite spot for the night. You can stay at the lookout spot or down by the river. Amazing views! Almost perfect phone service
*I did see a coyote about 100 yards from my van so maybe dogs shouldn’t free roam here

Great spot. It was a little tricky because it was sign posted private property and no trespassing but once I got to the spot it looked safe and they were a few locals driving by, nobody questioning me.

Amazing place. There were a lot of cars with photographers at sunsets because it was the golden weekend and a changing leaves were just astounding. It got very quiet at nights, only one camper and I. There are two locations; choose the one posted Vista Point, it has less cars than the campsite below which has more what looks like local hunters.

I could not find a camp spot around Ridgway and the good people from the Orvis Hot Springs told me that the county allows people to park overnight at the Dennis Weaver Memorial Park. I spend the night there and it was great. Great hiking trails to start off your morning.

Parking lot, says no RV parking, but store said we could st a year a few days while having emergency dental work. No dump or water anymore

If you need to come to Chinsali and need accommodation (around 300 kwacha for a room with big bed), this is not a bad place to stay. It has air conditioning and hot shower. Rough around the edges and a little bit dirty but pretty ok

Alex booked my big rig roro shipping, paid with visa card. No stress, easy.

Spot is close to the lake, so it is better to stay here when the weather, and the lake as well, is calm.

We were watching the elk around 10:40pm last night, about to get in bed for the night when a cop car rolled around and shone a light on our vehicle. I talked to the officer and he said he was just making sure no one was camping overnight here. We left afterwards for a different spot, it seems like they do not allow overnight camping here.

Exacty as described. noise from the road is quite loud here. Can also only fit probably 2 vehicles but we had the place to ourselves. Good if you just need a place to crash for the night.

This Camp looks very luxury, directly at the Kwando river; staff very nice and helpfull. Unfortunatelly not big enough for our big rig - MAN 6x6 (11 m long); trees in the entrace area. For smaller cars - very recommended!

It’s so lovely being able to hear the ocean, which is just a few seconds of walking from the lot. We were the only ones until about 11pm when people started to show up to fish. Woke up to quite a lot of people in the lot around 6am, mostly dog walkers. General store is closed for the season, but the area is as other visitors have described. The portable toilets are opposite from the parking lot, next to a Little Free Library. Not really any trash cans near by other than the ones that belong to private residents so you must pack in and pack out all of your waste.

lovely laundromat with newer machines, free wifi, vending machines, kid's play area, and restroom. full service laundry as well. great, clean place.

As described by OP. Seems like a well used place but off the beaten path. 2 bars Verizon.

We’re here the second time and yes it’s still open both water and Sanidump. The dump is not quite leveled so we have to put the blocks on front wheel of the truck to make sure it will properly drain both black and grey water.

31$ per adulte, under 5 year old free. Dog accepted!

You can reach this spot from the nation park, located in the national forest. Fire pits, huge shady spots, vault toilets 10/10 spot
