Near end of the 12. In late June we had to stop where it crosses the creek because the creek was still too high to ford in our Eurovan. We stopped slightly before the mapped National Forest, but a couple of really beautiful spots. No AT&T.

Great spot. It was a little tricky because it was sign posted private property and no trespassing but once I got to the spot it looked safe and they were a few locals driving by, nobody questioning me.
Report Check-InGreat for Star gazing. We crossed the river one time and camped in a open spot right by the creek on the right. Nice big open area and great access to the creek. Could fit several tents or camper vans. No cell service with Verizon. The only downside was the trash left behind. But not enough to be a deterrent. Seems to be a hunting camp spot. Lots of birds and squirrels flitting about! :o)
