Description

Limited free public parking available at this unincorporated beach community. Get in early (or late night) for parking. Limited facilities & no water source. There is a general store which has food and is open 7am-9pm from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Beach is not maintained & has no life guards, but is a good escape from the tourist-filled beaches further south. Popular for locals and fishermen. Some additional parking available on Bay Shore Dr. Do not park in store’s parking area, it’s marked.

Martine: Very nice and quiet place near the sea. We took a nice long walk on the beach. You can not park a long rv, all the few places are small and there are not a lot of places available.at this time of the year we were alone.

Very nice beach community, with a little store that sells ice cream, and a tiny lending library across the street. And of course, the beach is right there. Lots of people around during the day, but becomes quiet at night. Several port a pottys are nearby. The parking is somewhat limited, and suited only for smaller rigs like vans and truck campers. I spent a very peaceful evening here, and enjoyed the beach immensely.

Report Check-In

Public parking without overnight restrictions, next to public beach. We were disturbed by two individuals who fought all night, probably high on something. Store owner across the street isn’t against people parking there for the night but says some people abuse from it and stay there for days. A new house is being built next to the parking, I imagine they may have more objections. Too bad to see people leave garbage behind.

Nice quiet and safe spot. Was packed when i got there at 9pm but snagged the last spot. Even if the parking area was filled theres street parking on the perpendicular street. By 12am it was completely empty and i was the only one there. It was nice to be able to wake up and go straight to the beach!

It’s so lovely being able to hear the ocean, which is just a few seconds of walking from the lot. We were the only ones until about 11pm when people started to show up to fish. Woke up to quite a lot of people in the lot around 6am, mostly dog walkers. General store is closed for the season, but the area is as other visitors have described. The portable toilets are opposite from the parking lot, next to a Little Free Library. Not really any trash cans near by other than the ones that belong to private residents so you must pack in and pack out all of your waste.

Exactly as described, lovely little beach that fills up quickly. Lot was full at 7pm but had cleared out by 10. Cooked dinner in the parking lot with a small camping stove but saw some people having a fire on the beach. watched a thunderstorm in the distance. locals were really friendly, didn't seem to mind at all. please pack in and pack out, there aren't really trash cans other than the private ones on people's property. had a lazy morning and left at 10 am, was last car in the lot. Definitely plan to return.

Report Check-In

The parking area has about ten spaces of angle parking, a little tight if you have a long rv. Quiet and peaceful.

Report Check-In

Please note there seems to be some construction where the parking lot is. It is currently full of construction stuff and atv’s so we didn’t find a spot. We drove around 11:30 pm and didn’t feel comfortable parking nearby, so we left.

Limited spots but had no trouble parking our 24' rig along the road. We got in about 9pm and the place was deserted.

Still good to go! Three port-a-potties across the street when we were here. Also a reminder not to park at the small store, leave that for customers. Otherwise great for vans and smaller rigs!
