Description

There are 2 separate places called Tecopa Hot Springs side by side. The one on the North side has been reviewed but I stayed at the one on the South side.

It's $35 to park and stay with unlimited soaks. What I like about this location as opposed to the other one are the private hot tub rooms. Each tub (there are 2) accommodate 1-3 people in your party.

They drain and clean the tubs each hour, another plus.

There are showers and you're required to shower before entering the tubs.

I was the only van parked atop the hill with a gorgeous sunset. RVs are parked below.

There's a large outdoor labarynth to walk plus pottery and art in the check in area.

While there is no wifi here, you can go across the street and stand outside (or in car with the window down) for free, unlocked WiFi.

The tubs are clean and hot. My back went out 2 days ago and this was absolutely perfect to aid in healing.

Latest Check-Ins

Is $35 a night now for dry camping. Is nothing fancy at all. But pretty good. The hot baths are fantastic and definitely left me feeling rejuvenated. They also had a live band in the evening the night I stayed here which was pretty cool and certainly unexpected. The view from the dry camping area is beautiful. Everything else is as previously described, a few cool things to look at while staying here and bistro that serves food.

Report Check-In

We decided to stop here after a few days in DVNP to relax and soak. We chose this resort because of cost and no required nudity in the tubs.

I would use the term resort loosely, do not have those kind of expectations. I'm not sure if it is under new ownership or if something happened but the very nice lady at the front desk said they had not yet improved the dry camping area above the RVs, and that area looks like it used to be rv parking as well with hookups.

The tubs are super warm and both are private rooms which is very nice. We never had to wait for a soak even with all the people staying there. Bath house is open 24hrs and is on a keyed entry, though closed from noon to 3pm for cleaning. The facilities could use some updating, but overall a good experience.

There is a bistro next door and it's a 5min walk down to the brewery/BBQ joint which is very delicious. No wifi and no service on tmobile or Verizon.
