Wendy & Graham | $40.25 for a site with water and electric. No damp station in the campground but there is a free dump station a couple of streets away. Beautiful sites, well-spaced. However, we were really annoyed when our Visa bill showed that we had been charged a $5.00 booking fee. Originally, we were told the fee was $34. Be sure to get the fee straight. Wifi did not work. Grande Cache is a nice town. |

Winding Wheels | We shipped our bikes with Duncan from Rotterdam to Cape Town. The process went very smooth. We stayed at Duncan’s campground for a week. Together with the other overlanders preparing their trips it was easy to get in the travel mood. Great place to start the journey up north! |

thepleasureway | A small locally owned hot springs. Has four bathrooms two of which have showers. The water is not too hot but a little over bath temperature. Four soaking areas to choose from. The small hot tub sized spring is the hottest do to the small size. The one giant pool sized spring that goes up to 6 ft deep. The last two areas are fixed inside the large soaking pool. Large property that can fit big rigs. Some spots have electric, water and dump hookups. Possibly only one or two. My electric hookup didn’t work. The water smells of sulfur do to the natural springs. Prices may vary but as of this post $20 to stay the night and $10 to use the hot springs. Springs are open all night for guests and close at 9pm for non overnight guests. |

H Earl Clack museum inside. Across the street is a Super 8 with free wifi that I stayed at with no problem. Decent Verizon and ATT. |
