O camping é maravilhoso, tudo muito limpo e organizado. As pessoas são atenciosas e amáveis, os banheiros e duchas com calefação e águas quentes. Possui pontos de energia, água, descarte de água negra e cinza. Piscinas e a parte do termas com águas quentes é relaxante. Recomendamos a todos!!

El camping es maravilloso, todo muy limpio y organizado. La gente es atenta y amable, los baños y duchas con calefacción y aguas calientes. Tiene puntos de energía, agua, eliminación de agua negra y gris. Piscinas y la parte del balneario con aguas cálidas es relajante. ¡¡Recomendamos a todos!!

We slept several nights at this location. It's quiet and safe. And for those who travel with pet, you can walk around and play with him in the square.

Beautiful sunrise! Red dirt road for 1.5 miles to site. Actually there were options for flat spots. No leveling blocks needed if pick the right place.

Ghana side very easy. Relaxed and friendly at customs and immigration. 30mins with CDP stamp and some good chats.

Togo side immigration wanted equivalent of 55k cfa to pay in cedis (1200) for the 35k VOA and wouldn’t budge. Hung around for an hour and managed to change some money with a local (gave them a good deal in front of the police to spite them). After handing over CFA had to then wait 45mins for the head honcho to come and process the visa. Wasn’t a ‘bad’ border but just a waste of everyone’s time. Perhaps being a Saturday didn’t help.

Delicious empanadas oven baked. 3000 la douzaine. Very good quality price and at 14:00 it was hot. Miam

It is peaceful and quiet camp anywhere you want in this open Sonoran Desert Area. Hard sand and dispersed gravel roads to take you as far as you want! Including away from I-8 Traffic noise. There are actually Trees, growing all over. Vegetation of bushes as well. For shading in the Heat. Stayed for a few nights. T-Mobile 5G signal.

We were heading to another kebab place but we’re tired and ducked into the closest restaurant to Hotel Diwan. They gave us an English menu. We didn’t expect much but we’re blown away. Thought we were spending a bit more than we normally would for dinner at 15,000 but man was it good. We ordered the Half Chicken Mandi. It was more like a whole chicken with a platter of rice, a few plates of vegetables, hummus, a bowl of flavored beans and a vegetable dish with potatoes and eggplant. There was fresh bread and yogurt included too. It seemed like there was enough for at least 4 people. They didn’t speak much English, but were super nice and then when we left, they tried to not let us pay! Of course we did pay though because it was so good and they were so nice. Can’t speak to the other items on the menu.

Still a working option. Very quiet night !

We are not exatly at this position but very close. We find a good road from 41.67890 45.65922, then the street is not in the map (Osmand) but if the road is dry you will have no problem.
We stop in the top of the hill because of dark but if you continue the street probably you find a lot of spot. Where we are there is a little "children park" with a long table. There is some trash, but the place is quiet and the view good

bumpy road, doable in rear 2wd Express. wouldn't want the road to be in any worse shape though. lots of sites, beautiful place.

ES Dormimos y usamos la ducha. Durante el día nos fuimos a buscar la sombra bajo las palmeras unos metros más adelante. Nuestro hijo estuvo con fiebre y tuvimos que ir al centro de salud, Carlos muy amablemente se ofreció a acompañarnos para ejercer de traductor. Le diagnosticaron dengue y tuvimos que estar unos cuantos días para que se repusiera, siempre hemos sido tratados con una gran amabilidad por toda la familia del restaurante.

EN We slept and used the shower. During the day we went to seek shade under the palm trees a few metres further on.
Our son had a fever and we had to go to the health centre, Carlos very kindly offered to accompany us to act as translator. He was diagnosed with dengue and we had to stay a few days for him to recover, we have always been treated with great kindness by the whole family of the restaurant.

Nice modern café where you can get an executive menu for 7300 ARS at lunch time. I was pretty amazed by how good it was. You get the choice from a dozen of main dishes, a few drinks (good Torrentés wine imo) and a few desserts. Friendly service, not too loud. Really a good address, so close to the center.

Stumbled upon this place by chance, I found miso here for 4100 ARS !!! Coconut milk for 6600 ARS, tahini 10k, sesame oil 6k, tofu 4k, kombucha, kefir, you name it. Very fair prices compared to some other places I've seen. In front of the Correo Argentino office more or less.

Busy beach during the day, a little quieter at night. Never really quiet as it's the closest to town and so accessible.

If like me, you are desperately looking for pesto, this is the place to go! 2500 ARS for the powder mix that you can add oil to. Some marinades and spice mixes too, and of course, a lot of wine! Very friendly woman there.

Large open grass campsite with very clean ablutions, hot showers & a bath, flush toilets and a 180° view of the Maluti mountains 4km away in Lesotho. Camping @ R250 per site per night. Only 17km / 20min from Clarens.

Small hotel with secure parking incl big rigs. $15 per room per night. They were full so allowed us to sleep in cars FOC but then the security chap wanted a gift (we gave him 10k - $4). He did help us discuss the free parking.

Spent a good night there no problem. Noise was not that bad even if next to road. We are in a campervan

south end between two wooden posts is a spigot open year-round. two other spigots around the visitors center.

rampart is still closed for the season but the entrance has a big wide open space. 5-6 vehicles here. pretty quiet, toilets were gross but usable. not bad for a night if passing thru. lots more vehicles in the AM so easy to blend in as a hiker

Restaurant in a tranquil setting. Plates are for 2 persons for about 70 BRL (fish or carne de sol), I asked and they made a basic plate for 1 person with rice, beans, chicken for 20 BRL.
You can take a swim in the river, the entry is 15 BRL.

just some more infos:
- you can pay all fees with credit card
- driver: ask the immigration guys for the gate pass (you need 2 stamps on it)
- if you have comesa, then tell that the guy at counter 4 directly :-)
- they didn't check our car, we just have to write some dates (name, numberplate etc.) in a book

The dump station is currently closed. They said will be reopening approx middle to end of May 2024
