Great spot to get water. Spouts available at gas islands. Also can fill jugs inside store. Pilot down the street are on a well and do not have any water available to the public

Make sure to fill up your vehicle before getting to Semonkong, as there is often no petrol available in the local town

Spread out sites, mostly for tents. Our van fit in one of maybe 3 sites it could have fit in. Bathrooms with hot showers 24/7 but not totally clean. Security, small proveduria with pizza and beer onsite. Walk to the lake is a few hundred meters. Road to the campground is gravel and hilly. Very quiet place. Stayed two nights and enjoyed the town and cycled the Natl Park

As mentioned before, still a good option to spend the night at this location. WiFi is very good, bathrooms are clean and must important we felt very secured.

Got to the park about 10:30 this morning and pleasantly surprised to find there were 2 open spots. People can stay up to 14 days in a 28 day period. Also if another site comes open, the host will try and accommodate to move you into it. Some spots back right onto the Colarado River and some are across the road. We stayed across the road in full sun for our solar panels and Starlink internet. A small park and can’t beat the price at $5.00/night. Glad we lucked in! Sites are first come - first served. No reservations.

Very friendly owners, delicious homemade cakes. They offered to charge electronic devices and fill up water for free. Highly recommended, you can sit outside sheltered. Open from 8 am to 8 pm.

The bridge has been finished, no problem to drive this road with any vehicle. It's about 15km of gravel, after that it's tarmac.

Free camping 14 day per 30 days limit. Multiple areas to camp in 3 separate areas. Vault toilets and water at the dump station. Able to camp right on the water. Moderately busy - 5 other people camping but still room to spread out.

Open for winter! Plowed by camp manager early so perfect place to stay a few days and hit the slopes

Great little hotel for 1 night. Paid 70000 for a double bed and private bathroom. Lots of hot water. Good wifi. Little kitchen you can use. Free secured parking next door. Very nice and friendly staff. Town restaurants are 500 to 800 m away

VERY primitive place, rather run down, friendly owners, now 6$ / 24h, plate of (good) fish 6$. Lots of shade, no direct view of the beach (sand mount with palapa), still the only place in Mizata to "comfortably" stay with your rig.Right next door - if open - excellent and not expensive seafood in beach restaurant, very friendly and amiable lady, absolutely recommendable!

Epic place next to the river worth the money and easy to find after crossing the boarder

Stayed one night at campground. Arrived about 530 pm on a Monday night. We were the only ones here. Beautiful views and easy access to the trail. Road in was not too bad. We have high clearance and 4wd but it would not have been necessary.

Beautiful spot! And a much needed respite from the howling desert winds this time of year.

No problem for my 2WD transit, but you could potentially find yourself mildly stuck if you venture too far off the main road. Just be cautious.
