Really great spot. Very friendly staf, feels like coming home. Good breakfast with hot Bread, coffee, juice, fruit, yoghurt, cheese and vegetables from their own garden. Laundry service, parkinglot (also for bikes), information about the city and great showers.

meh, don't stay here if you don't have to. the sand is hard packed in most areas then it's like quick sand, so we found out from our dog running around.

quick search going northbound at 11:25am. went though some backpacks and looked in our upper cabinet. easy peasy.

excellent fish tacos! definitely make the stop here. be sure to try the sauces they have as well. the guy taking orders speaks English if needed. there's a shredded beef place next door...if you don't eat seafood. the meat was good but everything was so greasy.

so freaking good. stopped for some tacos - had the shredded beef one and a pablano tacos. plus a lemonade, so good! bomb! def stop here! they are breakfast and lunch only, open 8am to 3pm.

Dormimos várias noites nesse local maravilhoso. De frente para o mar, seguro, bem iluminado, vários outros viajantes, banheiros limpos pois exista um funcionário só para limpeza do mesmo, as pias foram reformadas juntamente com um chuveiro externo e um tanque de lavar roupa, local totalmente grátis com muita segurança, próximo ao ponto existe um projeto de reabilitação de tartarugas “KARUMBÉ” vale a pena a visita gratuita. Comércio é próximo (800m), e ainda tivemos a experiência de ver o mar brilhante a noite.

The storage unit at 4400 S Clay offers a $30 dump station, propane, and water seasonally.

Big / car ferry is out of order for repairs, currently no possibility to bring a car to the island. Paid 20000 TZS / person. This day departure was at 4pm from Nyamasati but as said the schedule varies with the tides. In general the boat leaves somewhere in the afternoon from Nyamasati and early morning from Mafia.

nice mechanic, helped us and find straight away what was wrong with our car, good prices does all source of cars, honest.
also helped our friends that had an accident to change suspension and and few other parts, worked very hard to find the parts for mercedes that are rare goods here, highly suggested

Ótimo lugar para estacionamento de Kombihome e vans, 2 pontos de água e ponto de luz, banheiro do mercado pode ser usado, permanecemos uma noite, recomendo, parabéns a cidade de São Francisco do Sul....

Ficamos em uma rua ao lado em meio aos coqueiros. Local muito bonito, com uma praia muito boa vale uma visita.

80L for the hot springs, camping free. A bit dusty but friendly, quiet, and great for pre-border stops.

The lady told us 60sol when we arrived then when we took everything off the bikes and locked them up the price was 100sols. The parking is a public parking garage not very secure.

This is a fantastic place to stay- close to everything you need including a beautiful walking path by the river and has all the basic amenities. Was $80/night and is still cash or check only. Were lucky they had a spot available last minute for us and they didn't charge extra for our dog but I see that may change soon from another comment on here. Definitely want to return!

Camping perfecto para visitar el mercado ubicado a 10 minutos a pie. pero los perros que ladraban de 18 a 22 horas sin parar y de 5 a 18 horas.

Excelente camping, personal muy amable y bien dispuesto. Baños siempre muy limpios y exquisita ducha caliente. Además cuentan con servicio de lavandería y datos para turismo y rafting.

amazing place to sleep if you don't find a hostel or camp ground in San Pedro de atacama, remote place, you can shelter your tent with the tree and your car, only 2 vans we can hear in the night, we where alone all the time, grate place to view the stars. one night you have to live the experience of sleeping in the middle of the desert.

stay the night on the parking lot for 100 pesos. oke and safe. toilet and birds and in the evening black flies...grrr. We did go to Mexcaltitan for 150 pesos ons boat. beautifull there and a nice experiance!

As said below, nice place with great views but really cold and windy in the evening and night (~5° when we were there).

It’s look like a truck stop, free and free wifi, bit busy with the road but safe a large place to sleep

La atención es muy buena, hay que reservar con anticipación, ya que ellos realizan el trámite en prefectura de circulación en del motorhome en Ilhabela ya que las multa es alta.

I slept here for a night, parked right in front of PF. No issues. During the day I did see a security car a few times but there must have been something going on because I didn't see it again and nobody bothered me. Relatively quiet at night. No signs saying no overnight parking.

Nice offroad, we did it in a stock 4x4 Toyota 4Runner with all-terrain tires. In dry conditions it could be doable with 4x2 if going north to south, but high clearance is absolutely necessary. Not suitable for large vehicles since many parts are very narrow (our car was scratched from plants). Also keep in mind the tunnel (marked on IOverlander). From Guallali we crossed the river further east and the point should be on iOverlander.

There is also a Mapuche checkpoint. We had to pay 20.000CLP per person, which was really expensive. This could be due to our non-existent Spanish and very narrow knowledge about Mapuche when we were confronted with the question what do we know about them. Not sure if this was the only reason, the guy simply decides on the amount. Checkpoint is nothing official, he asks for documents and takes a photo.

Nice and secluded spot, not visible from the road or any houses. The “lake” isn’t really a lake, more of a nasty lagoon. But there are spots in the woods away from the lake. Plenty of firewood too.

Nice place which gets very busy during weekends. We stayed a little bit closer to the beach - plenty of places to stay overnight. Water & toilets close by.

At the back of the ablution block are the water taps. Clean water and good pressure.

Spent the night at the tourist office. Felt safe and were able to use the restrooms in the morning and get good information from the host about the area. We found it a better spot to sleep than in front of the police station as it was much darker. Also the police station didn't let us use their bathrooms
